Zero Critical is a third-person science fiction adventure set on the planet of Rheom 1, where there is eternal daylight. You play as Chatt Rhuller, an agent sent to investigate strange events happening as a research facility. The previous game from the same developer is Majestic Part 1, and the next game is Symbiocom.

Day 1

The SATIN Project

Enter the building and talk to Thomas Vilken about everything - you will receive a guest security badge. Also talk to Victoria Fayn about everything, and you will learn the location of the body. Talk to Thomas again, then head through the door just to his left.

From the dining room, continue left into the kitchen, then through the door here into the freezer. Use your medical scanner on Geopp's body. Examine the body and then the hand to see that it still grips something tightly. Go back out to the kitchen and use the temperature controls next to the freezer door - set the temperature to at least 65 degrees. Go back into the freezer and examine the hand, then take the Sym scanner.

Go back out to Thomas and Victoria, then head right to a hallway, and go through the middle door into the computer lab. Talk to Roger Olken about everything. Use your digitizer on the broken terminal to the right. Go through the left door and talk to Myna Summine about everything, then show her the Sym scanner. Leave this room and talk to Roger again.

Make your way back to the dining room and talk to Victoria. Go through the right door into a storeroom, then continue through the next door into your quarters. Read the message on the computer terminal here, then go to sleep in the bed.

Day 2

The Folds of Madness

Read the new message on the computer terminal. Walk around to the hallway outside the computer lab. Talk to Myna and Victoria, then Myna again. Head through the left door into the living quarters and talk to Thomas about everything. Leave again and go through the computer lab to the system administrator's office to talk to Myna again. Show her the Sym scanner again and she will give you a code to look up (6VSYNCOREBATT). Examine the back of your Sym scanner to see that it needs an 8V battery rather than 6V.

Walk back to the storeroom and talk to Eugene Garr about everything. Use the console to the left and enter part number 8VSYNCOREBATT. Open the drawer at the bottom of the terminal and take the battery from inside. Examine the back of your Sym scanner again and use the new battery on it.

Return to the living quarters and use the Sym scanner on Thomas. Visit Myna and talk to her about everything - she wants you to go and fix the breaker box. Go back to your quarters and take a fuse from the box on the table. Look at the fuse box on the left wall (behind the fence) to see that a fuse is missing. Insert your fuse here, then return to Myna and talk to her again - now she wants you to get her some headache medication.

Go to the living quarters and through the doorway on the right. Take some headache pills and a portable terminal from the shelves over the bed. Also collect some sleeping pills from an open cabinet just to the left. Return to Myna and give her the headache pills.

Head to the dining room and talk to Roger about everything. Use the coffee machine on the bench to get a cup of coffee. Examine this in your inventory, then use the sleeping pills on the coffee. Give the drugged coffee to Roger. Go through the left door into the kitchen and talk to Magus Canter about everything. Go back to the right and steal Roger's badge now that he is asleep. Now that you have this badge, go to the computer lab and continue through the door on the right into the experiment lab. Talk to Victoria about everything.

Go back to your quarters and go to sleep in the bed.

Day 3

Demons of the Past

Read the new message on the computer terminal. Head to the experiment lab and use the terminal on the left where Victoria was sitting yesterday. Use the Power Room Lock button to unlock the power room door on the right then go through. Pick up the conduit list from the table on the right.

Return out to the hallway and look at the access panel to the left. Use your portable terminal here and enter the code CCVC (which corresponds with the lift based on the conduit list you just picked up). Go to the computer lab and use the lift on the right. Look at the papers on the floor and take the photograph - look at the back to see some writing.

Go all the way back outside to where you first arrived, then head right to see Magus working on something. Show him the photograph, then talk to him about everything to learn some coordinates. Go back inside and use the lift in the computer lab again, then go through the next door to reach an upstairs outdoor landing. Use your portable terminal on the white access panel, then enter the coordinates 83-47-01. Go back inside and click on the array of monitors, then click on the black structure on the screen.

Back out, then go back down in the lift. Talk to Eugene about everything, then head through the experiment lab to the power room. Continue through the next door to head outside, then get into the Aetobee transport vehicle. Use the Nav-Gator and select to travel to the Unidentified Structure. Once you arrive, try to enter but it is too dark. Get back into the Aetobee and travel back to the SATIN Project Facility.

Return around to talk to Magus about everything, and you will learn a new destination. Head back to the Aetobee and use it to travel to the Remote Power Station. Head inside and use the vertical control box to the right of the grid of dials, then press the button to reset power to Auxiliary 1. Go back outside and use the Aetobee to travel back to the Unidentified Structure.

Go inside, then through the sliding doors to find an intersection of corridors. Head left and pick up the skull from the floor. Back out, then go down and left. Talk to Victoria about everything. Return to your Aetobee and travel back to the SATIN Project Facility.

Go around to Magus and show him the skull. Go back to your quarters.

Day 4

Torn Satin

Talk to Myna about everything. Go out to the dining room and talk to Victoria about everything. Return to your quarters and use the Sym scanner on Myna. Leave the room, then go back in again and show the Sym scanner to Myna, talking to her about everything.

Go through the computer room to the system administrator's office. Use the terminal on the right and add code 806 to the VIP wing (this number comes from examining Roger's security badge). Now you can go out to the hallway and through the right door into the VIP quarters. Enter room A and examine the love letter on the wall over the desk. Next go out to the experiment lab. Try to enter the white rift, but there is an invisible barrier blocking you. Use the terminal on the left - select Protection Field, then enter the password ROLAND. Now go through the rift.

Talk to Thomas about everything. Look out the window, then leave by going to the right.

Head out to the Aetobee and use it to travel to the Unidentified Structure. Go inside and through the sliding doors, then continue right. Look out the window and click on the large glowing structure. Go back out to the Aetobee and use it to travel to the Secondary SATIN Facility.

Head inside and talk to Eugene about everything - you will receive a key. Continue through the door to the left. The next door is locked, so use your key on the locking mechanism just to the right. Now go through the door - there is an open vent on the wall which is how Myna must have escaped from the room. Go back out and head left. Talk to Victoria and click on the rift, then return to the Aetobee. Use it to travel to the Rift Gate.

Head through the rift. Talk to Myna about everything. Continue through the doorway and examine the statue on the right, then walk down to find a balcony. Head through the door behind the staircase and talk to Roland Carson about everything. Go back to the statue and head right into a corridor with a lounge on the right. There is a storage room through the door to the left - don't go in here, but open a small panel just to the right of the door and take the power source from inside. Go back out of the rift again.

Use the Aetobee to travel to the Unidentified Structure again. Head inside and go through the sliding doors. Walk down and look at the opened panel, then insert your power source. Go through the closet door and take the locket from next to the skeleton. Open the locket to see the pictures inside (Victoria and Roland). Head back outside and use the Aetobee to travel to the Secondary SATIN Facility.

Walk inside, through the door and left, then give the locket to Victoria. Talk to her about everything and you will receive an access card. Return to the Aetobee and travel to the Remote Power Station.

Go inside and use the access card on the large Power Distribution System. Click on the arrows to move 100% power to the Main Facility. Now use the Aetobee to travel back to the SATIN Project Facility.

Head inside to the power room and use the access card on the small terminal at the bottom left. Click on the arrows to move 100% power to Facility 2 - there will be an overload warning. Walk down into the experiment lab and talk to Thomas about everything. Go to the computer lab and use the lift, then head outside. Walk right and talk to Myna.
