Bee Chapter 1
The Past: Open the envelope to reveal a letter with the date of January 1926.
The Future: Press the red switch to activate the cubical device, then press Enter until you are prompted to submit the year of memory. Enter 1926, and a pattern will be shown on your display.
The Past: Press buttons to match the pattern from The Future:
Take the matches, then back out to see the rest of the room. Turn around twice and click on each of the 4 small pictures on the wall. Turn around twice again and look at the mirror You know what to do. Turn left and look at the rose, then click on it until the bee flies away. Back out and turn left to be facing the 4 small pictures again.
The Future: Confirm that the person in The Past opened the box. Open the box of matches and take out the switch. Rotate the device to see the left side, then attach the switch beneath P-17 and turn it to green. Now you need to change the images on the left to match those from The Past:
- Top-Left: House
- Top-Right: Bee
- Bottom-Left: Crow
- Bottom-Right: Rose & Albert
Now you will see 4 different symbols shown here.
The Past: Look down at the box on the floor and change the images to match those from The Future:
- Top-Left: Sword
- Top-Right: Cross-hair
- Bottom-Left: Vertical line, circle at bottom
- Bottom-Right: Rectangle and 2 squares
Take the coal from the box. Back out and also take the pot of cold soup from the chair. Put your coal in the stove on the left, then light it with your matches. Put the pot of cold soup on top of the stove, then pick up the pot of hot soup. Notice the 3 horizontal gauges near the top of the stove.
The Future: Back out and quickly click on the mouse (1/3). Turn right and read the message on the screen, then turn the device around so you can set the sliders as follows:
Take the battery from the right. Look at the left of the device and insert the battery into the empty compartment, then you will see the time 13:15 displayed.
The Past: Back out and turn around twice, then set the time on the clock to 13:15. Turn left to see a portrait fall to the ground. Look at this and slide the pieces apart so you can pick up a key. Turn right and use the key on the bottom drawer. Open the drawer and take out the snow mask. Look in the mirror and use the mask on your reflection Behind the mask. Back out, then turn right to focus on the stained glass windows. In particular, note the 3 symbols around the eye on the right.
The Future: Back out from the device, and the fan will blow away some papers. Pick up the key and the photo slide. Insert the key to the right of the fan, and rotate it to reveal an eyepiece with 3 surrounding symbols. Rotate the symbols to match the ones from The Past:
- Arrow: 9 o'clock
- Circle: 6 o'clock
- Cross: 3 o'clock
The Past: Click on the mountain, tree and cube stained glass images (that were highlighted in The Future). The symbols around the eye will change.
The Future: Back out and rotate the symbols around the eyepiece again:
- Arrow: 10 o'clock
- Circle: 7 o'clock
- Cross: 1 o'clock
The Past: Click on the butterfly and knife stained glass images. The symbols around the eye will change again.
The Future: Back out and rotate the eyepiece symbols once more:
- Arrow: 11 o'clock
- Circle: 8 o'clock
- Cross: 4 o'clock
The Past: Click on the butterfly, mountain, cube and knife stained glass images. The symbols around the eye will change once again. Take note of them, then open the doors.
The Future: Back out and rotate the eyepiece symbols yet again:
- Arrow: 3 o'clock
- Circle: 12 o'clock
- Cross: 9 o'clock
Look through the lens and click on Rose several times Who is that?. Back out and quickly click on the mouse (2/3). Read the message on the device, then rotate left and zoom in on the 6 switches.
The Past: Look through the round window on the wall. Next look down at the papers on the floor, one of which shows the positions of 6 switches.
The Future: Set the 6 switches as follows:
Take the yellow floppy disk. Rotate to the right and insert this, then push it further in. Several letters will flash on the screen.
The Past: Back out and turn around, then approach the coffin. Look at the name and click on the letter L from the top line, and VAERO from the bottom line. Open the coffin and take the altar key. Look in Albert's pocket and drag up the photograph to see the letters IDAV.
The Future: Press Enter, then enter the code IDAV as the answer to the riddle on the device. Select the "Bone" option first to get some more instructions. Rotate around to the back of the machine and focus on the middle rectangle. The flashing box indicates the first of Albert's teeth to target in The Past.
The Past: Back away from the coffin. Turn around and insert the altar key into the right door on the front of the altar, then the altar will open. Pull the left lever down, then take the mouth opener. Return to the coffin and examine Albert's mouth. Insert the mouth opener to see his teeth. By communicating information back and forward, click on Albert's teeth in order from 1-5:
When you click on tooth 5, it will come free.
The Future: By communicating information back and forward, click on the boxes on the device in order from 1-5:
Make sure you complete the sequence by clicking on box 5 A tooth for a tooth. Rotate around to the message screen and select "Yes". Next select the "Flesh" option to get more instructions. Rotate around to the left and focus on the photo slides at the top-right. You can change the slides using the orange slider, and insert your photo slide in the blank space when it appears. You need to pay attention to the pictures and to the shaded squares in the corner.
The Past: Back out and turn right. Open the hanging lantern and take out the candle. Turn right and repeat this to get another candle. Turn back to the coffin and place your two candles on the candelabra. Light all 5 candles with your matches, then take the key from the melted middle candle. Back out and turn right, then use your key on the middle drawer. Open the drawer and take the diary. Back out again, then turn right and approach the altar. Pick up the pencil from the shelf on the right. Place the diary here. Now turn the pages and use the pencil to shade in one of the squares; the squares, based on the photo slides from The Future:
- Bees: Bottom-Right
- Ida: Top-Right
- Rose: Bottom-Left
- Cubical Device: Bottom-Right
- Chess: Top-Left
- Dark Soul: Top-Right
Back out and take the scalpel. Go back to the coffin and use your scalpel on Albert's ear to remove it. Go back to the altar, where you will see a code in the middle.
The Future: Rotate around to the message screen and select "Yes". Now select the "Blood" option to get some more instructions. Rotate to the right and focus on the small keypad. Enter the code 2Y3Z1X, and the printer will say "there is a message in the eye of the crow".
The Past: Back out and turn right, then look at the crow picture. Peel it down to reveal the next code.
The Future: Enter the code Y3X1Z2, and the printer will say "there is a message in your own reflection".
The Past: Back out and turn to the mirror, then click on your reflection for another code.
The Future: Enter the code 312ZYX. The printer will show a picture indicating the box on the floor.
The Past: Back out and turn around. Examine the box on the floor and peel back the lining to reveal a spoon and a code.
The Future: Enter the code XZY312, and the printer will say "eat your hot soup and you will find a gift".
The Past: Back out and turn around. Examine the bowl on the table. Pour the hot soup from the pot into the bowl, then use your spoon to eat it, and pick up an orange gem. Back out and turn right, then insert the gem into the middle of the altar. Pick up the bottle and the cotton swab. Return to the coffin and examine Albert's nose. Insert the cotton swab and move it around, then collect some blood in the bottle.
Turn around and approach the cubical device on the altar. Insert the bone, flesh and blood into the appropriate compartments Bone, Flesh and Blood. Press the arrow button, then pick up the scroll. Open the scroll and take the coin, reading the letter to see the year of the future is 1984.
The Future: Rotate around to the message screen and select "Yes". Now select the "Complete" option, then enter the year 1984 The year of The Future. Take the cassette tape. Rotate around and press the eject button, then insert the cassette tape. Close the compartment and press Play to see the time 14:35. Back out and pick up the screwdriver. Rotate around to the left and use the screwdriver to remove the 4 screws. A chess board will be revealed.
The Past: Back out and turn left, then set the time on the clock to 14:35. Turn left, then click on the vase and it will fall down and break. Examine the pieces and move them to find a key. Turn right and click on the bee on the lantern Catch me if you can. Now use the key on the top drawer. Open the drawer and take out black and white chess pieces. Turn around and look at the chess board on the table. Put the black piece on A1, and the white piece on F1.
By communicating information back and forward, move the black piece to E5, E1, C3, C6. Take the coin.
The Future: By communicating information back and forward, move the white piece to A6, A3, F3, D1, D6 Checkmate. Take the red floppy disk. Back out and click on the mouse (3/3) Squeak. Rotate left and eject the yellow floppy disk. Insert the red floppy disk and push it further in. Read the message above for further information, then press enter several times.
The Past: Go to the coffin and place the 2 coins on Albert's eyes. Back out, then click on the corrupted soul until it crawls away. Look in the coffin again and click on the tarot card The Devil. Back out and look left. Click on the corrupted soul again, then examine the blue horizontal gauges near the top of the stove.
The Future: Turn the device around so you can set the sliders as follows:
Take the fuse (1/3). Rotate right and zoom in on the 6 switches.
The Past: Turn around and look at the mirror to see an image which shows the positions of 6 switches.
The Future: Set the 6 switches as follows:
Take another fuse (2/3).
The Past: Look down from the mirror, and click on the corrupted soul here to talk to it. Turn left and talk to it again, then you will see an image on the wall.
The Future: Turn to the other side of the device. Rotate the symbols around the eyepiece:
- Arrow: 2 o'clock
- Circle: 10 o'clock
- Cross: 6 o'clock
Click on Rose, then on the corrupted soul twice. Take the final fuse (3/3). Back out and rotate left. Insert the 3 fuses, then rotate left and pull the red lever down to see the time 15:20.
The Past: Back out and turn right, then set the time on the clock to 15:20. Back out and turn left. Talk to the corrupted soul until you can take the golden cube. Turn around and place this on the cubical device.
The Future: Back out and read the message on the screen, then select "Yes" twice. Press and hold the down arrow button for 10 seconds The Future is ever changing.
The Past: Press the hold the down arrow button for 10 seconds The Past has changed.
Bee Chapter 2
The Future: Read the notes on the right to see a code.
The Past: Rotate the cubical device to the right and enter the code Z1X23Y. Read the new instructions.
The Future: Back out and take the black cube and the matches. Back out again and pick up the glass from the floor. Look at the small sink and turn the tap until the water flows, then fill your glass with water. Look in the mirror here and click on your reflection. Back out and turn right again. Examine the radio and turn it to 97 to hear some music, then return left and look in the mirror again Harvey's Song.
Turn around twice and insert the black cube into slot C-9. Press buttons to match the pattern from The Past:
Now press the round button next to the dial on the machine and notice the 3 pointers.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 3 o'clock
- White: 6 o'clock
- Black: 9 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the music key from the right compartment. Rotate around to the right and use this to unlock a small piano keyboard. Press random keys for a while Victor. Notice the number displayed above the keys.
The Future: Go back to the radio and tune it to 91.4, then notice the notes that appear.
The Past: Play the notes AGAB, and a new number will be displayed.
The Future: Tune the radio to 72.0 to see some new notes.
The Past: Play the notes CDEG to reveal the next number.
The Future: Change the radio frequency to 85.3 for the next notes.
The Past: Play the notes EDEC to see the final frequency.
The Future: Tune the radio to 110.2 for the last set of notes.
The Past: Play the notes BAGA and take the tooth key. Rotate the cubical device and insert this key next to the tooth, then turn it to see a switch pattern.
The Future: Back out and turn around, then approach the tall cabinet and look at the switches at the bottom. Set them according to the pattern from The Past:
Take the chalk from the opened compartment. Turn back around and search the drawers to find a scalpel. Look up at the blackboard and use your chalk on it to reveal some symbols and a code.
The Past: Enter the code X3Z1Y2 and read the message.
The Future: Use the chalk to circle these images: coffin, eyes, black soul, cube, future, bone, flesh and blood. Click on the image of a hammer, then take the hammer. Back out and turn around, then use the hammer on the large tooth. Click on the tooth and it will crack. Drag down the vacuum tube to suck up all the tooth fragments. Turn left and flip the yellow Bone switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 9 o'clock
- White: 11 o'clock
- Black: 3 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the nut driver from the right compartment. Rotate around and use this to remove 4 nuts from a vented panel. Look around the wooden edges of the cubical device to find 3 small hidden compartments, each containing a gear. Insert each of these into the opened panel, then turn the yellow handle on the left. After the voodoo doll is lowered, click on it until it falls, then pick up the hook.
Rotate to the right and attach the hook to the rope over the ear. Lower the hook with the handle, then raise it out of the machine Ear on the inside. Click on the bee several times and it will eventually land on one of the opened hidden compartments. Close the compartment to trap the bee Breaking in.
The Future: Back out and watch the black mouse disappear into a crack to the left of the large machine. Examine this and a white mouse will leave a key behind - pick up the key. Back out, then keep clicking on the black mouse as it scurries around the room No way out.
Use the key on the tall cabinet to open the right door. Examine the blueprints in the file at the top (this just shows the locations of the hidden compartments if you didn't find them already). Next examine the computer and press the down arrow, noticing the flashing code.
The Past: Drag the switches to the positions matching the code from The Future:
You will now see a code of arrows.
The Future: Press the buttons according to the code from The Past: left, up, up, down, left, up. This will reveal a grid and a code.
The Past: Enter the code Y3X1Z2 to reveal a map.
The Future: Using directions from The Past, starting from the green position in the top left of the maze, make your way to targets 1, 2 and 3 (in any order):
Back out and turn left to see the ear lowered into the room All ears. Examine this closely and use your scalpel to get a piece of flesh. Examine the device on the desk and click on the numbers until it explodes. Pick up the dark powder. Turn right and look at the coffee machine in the bottom of the tall cabinet. Put the dark powder in the top, then press the button and take the coffee. Now examine the bench here. Press the gas button on the burner, then light it with your matches. Place the water and coffee on the bench, then put the flesh in the dish on the left. You will now see a code.
The Past: Enter the code 3X2Z1Y and read the instructions.
The Future: Add acid, water and hot coffee to the flesh (in this order). Note what happens to the flesh and get a new code.
The Past: Enter the code 1Y3X2Z and read the new instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the flesh shape (in the correct order). Note the changes to the flesh and get another code.
The Past: Enter the code 2Z1X3Y and read some more instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the flesh surface (in the correct order). Note the changes to the flesh and get another code.
The Past: Enter the code 1Y2X3Z and read the next instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the body part (in the correct order). There is an achievement if you made no mistakes during this process Frankenstein. Click on the flesh until it disappears into the large machine. Flip the yellow Flesh switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 10 o'clock
- White: 2 o'clock
- Black: 5 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the valve from the right compartment. Rotate left and use this on the triangle next to the bottle of blood, then rotate it clockwise. Turn left and pull down the red switch to reveal a complex machine.
The Future: Back out and turn right. Click on the high vent to reveal a large bee. Keep clicking on this until it kills the mouse. Examine the dead mouse and pick up a key. Use this key on the other tall cabinet, then take the valve from inside. Turn around and use this on the spigot, then rotate it anti-clockwise to reveal a complex machine. Flip the switch on. By communicating information back and forward, click on these symbols, pressing the red button after each one:
- 2 rectangles
- Capital T
- Cross-hair
- Vertical line, circle to left
- Rectangle and 2 squares
- Sword
- Horizontal line, circle above
- Wavy line
The Past: Flip the switch on. By communicating information back and forward, click on these symbols, pressing the red button after each one:
- Deer

The Future: Back out and turn left to see blood has reached the machine. Flip the yellow Blood switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Rotate around to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 8 o'clock
- White: 4 o'clock
- Black: 6 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the hex key from the right compartment. Rotate around and use this on the top compartment to reveal a scope. Look through this to see a series of different images, each associated with a pattern.
The Future: Focus on the black cube and click on it to see the image of a candle. Enter this code based on the scope from The Past:
Now you will see the image of a chess piece. Enter this code:
Next you will see the image of a clock. Enter this code:
Finally you will see the image of a rose. Enter this code:
Click on the machine and the glass will break There will be blood. Look through the round window in the back of the machine. Click on Albert and he will crawl away. Turn left and open the tall cabinet, then talk to Albert until you can look in his pocket. Pull out the picture to see a code.
The Past: Enter the code 3XY21Z and read the message.
The Future: Back out, then examine the blackboard. Use the chalk to circle these images: eyes, future, mask, gems, cube. Click on the image of a key, then take the golden key. Back out and look at the locked box in the cabinet. Use the golden key on the lock, then open the box and take out 3 masks. Turn left and approach Albert, then put the snow mask on his face. Back out and turn around, then press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 11 o'clock
- White: 3 o'clock
- Black: 7 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece and clicking several times, take the voodoo needle from the right compartment. Back out and click on the bee so that it lands on the cubical device over the 3 cylinders. Rotate around and use the voodoo needle on the voodoo doll's eye, then push it in Dead eye. Take the white gem, then back out.
The Future: Go back to Albert. Remove the snow mask and give him the deer mask. Turn right and look at the blackboard.
The Past: Rotate to the right. Drag the switches to the positions matching the code from The Future:
Grab the red gem, then back out.
The Future: Go back to Albert. Remove the deer mask and give him the music mask. Turn right and look at the radio.
The Past: Rotate around to the keyboard, and play the notes FGDC. Take the golden gem. Click on the bee above, and the 3 cylinders will rotate. Insert the white, red and golden gems (from left to right). There is an achievement if you get this correct the first time Hidden treasure. You will now see a pattern on the golden cube.
The Future: Go back to the big machine and enter this code from The Past:
Take the black cube. Go back to Albert and give him the black cube. Talk to Albert, then click on the black cube. Press and hold the black cube for 10 seconds. Watch the end sequence and don't skip the credits Branching out.
The Past: Press and hold the golden cube for 10 seconds. Watch the end sequence and don't skip the credits Rooted in The Past.

The Past: Back out and turn around. Examine the bowl on the table. Pour the hot soup from the pot into the bowl, then use your spoon to eat it, and pick up a green gem. Back out and turn right, then insert the gem into the middle of the altar. Pick up the bottle and the cotton swab. Return to the coffin and examine Albert's nose. Insert the cotton swab and move it around, then collect some blood in the bottle.
Turn around and approach the cubical device on the altar. Insert the bone, flesh and blood into the appropriate compartments Bone, Flesh and Blood. Press the arrow button, then pick up the scroll. Open the scroll and take the coin, reading the letter to see the year of the future is 1984.
The Future: Rotate around to the message screen and select "Yes". Now select the "Complete" option, then enter the year 1984 The year of The Future. Take the cassette tape. Rotate around and press the eject button, then insert the cassette tape. Close the compartment and press Play to see the time 19:45. Back out and pick up the screwdriver. Rotate around to the left and use the screwdriver to remove the 4 screws. A chess board will be revealed.
The Past: Back out and turn left, then set the time on the clock to 19:45. Turn left, then click on the vase and it will fall down and break. Examine the pieces and move them to find a key. Turn right and click on the butterfly on the lantern Catch me if you can. Now use the key on the bottom drawer. Open the drawer and take out black and white chess pieces. Turn around and look at the chess board on the table. Put the black piece on A1, and the white piece on F1.
By communicating information back and forward, move the black piece to A5, D2, B2, F6. Take the coin.
The Future: By communicating information back and forward, move the white piece to F3, A3, C1, C6, A6 Checkmate. Take the red floppy disk. Back out and click on the mouse (3/3) Squeak. Rotate left and eject the yellow floppy disk. Insert the red floppy disk and push it further in. Read the message above for further information, then press enter several times.
The Past: Go to the coffin and place the 2 coins on Albert's eyes. Back out, then click on the corrupted soul until it crawls away. Look in the coffin again and click on the tarot card The Devil. Back out and look left. Click on the corrupted soul again, then examine the blue horizontal gauges near the top of the stove.
The Future: Turn the device around so you can set the sliders as follows:
Take the fuse (1/3). Rotate right and zoom in on the 6 switches.
The Past: Turn around and look at the mirror to see an image which shows the positions of 6 switches.
The Future: Set the 6 switches as follows:
Take another fuse (2/3).
The Past: Look down from the mirror, and click on the corrupted soul here to talk to it. Turn left and talk to it again, then you will see an image on the wall.
The Future: Turn to the other side of the device. Rotate the symbols around the eyepiece:
- Arrow: 9 o'clock
- Circle: 6 o'clock
- Cross: 3 o'clock
Click on Rose, then on the corrupted soul twice. Take the final fuse (3/3). Back out and rotate left. Insert the 3 fuses, then rotate left and pull the red lever down to see the time 21:10.
The Past: Back out and turn right, then set the time on the clock to 21:10. Back out and turn left. Talk to the corrupted soul until you can take the golden cube. Turn around and place this on the cubical device.
The Future: Back out and read the message on the screen, then select "Yes" twice. Press and hold the up arrow button for 10 seconds The Future is ever changing.
The Past: Press the hold the up arrow button for 10 seconds The Past has changed.
Butterfly Chapter 2
The Future: Read the notes on the right to see a code.
The Past: Rotate the cubical device to the right and enter the code Z1X23Y. Read the new instructions.
The Future: Back out and take the black cube and the matches. Back out again and pick up the glass from the floor. Look at the small sink and turn the tap until the water flows, then fill your glass with water. Look in the mirror here and click on your reflection. Back out and turn right again. Examine the radio and turn it to 97 to hear some music, then return left and look in the mirror again Harvey's Song.
Turn around twice and insert the black cube into slot C-9. Press buttons to match the pattern from The Past:
Now press the round button next to the dial on the machine and notice the 3 pointers.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 1 o'clock
- White: 3 o'clock
- Black: 11 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the music key from the right compartment. Rotate around to the right and use this to unlock a small piano keyboard. Press random keys for a while Victor. Notice the number displayed above the keys.
The Future: Go back to the radio and tune it to 78.3, then notice the notes that appear.
The Past: Play the notes AGAB, and a new number will be displayed.
The Future: Tune the radio to 114.3 to see some new notes.
The Past: Play the notes CDEG to reveal the next number.
The Future: Change the radio frequency to 103.7 for the next notes.
The Past: Play the notes EDEC to see the final frequency.
The Future: Tune the radio to 89.1 for the last set of notes.
The Past: Play the notes BAGA and take the tooth key. Rotate the cubical device and insert this key next to the tooth, then turn it to see a switch pattern.
The Future: Back out and turn around, then approach the tall cabinet and look at the switches at the bottom. Set them according to the pattern from The Past:
Take the chalk from the opened compartment. Turn back around and search the drawers to find a scalpel. Look up at the blackboard and use your chalk on it to reveal some symbols and a code.
The Past: Enter the code X3Z1Y2 and read the message.
The Future: Use the chalk to circle these images: coffin, eyes, black soul, cube, future, bone, flesh and blood. Click on the image of a hammer, then take the hammer. Back out and turn around, then use the hammer on the large tooth. Click on the tooth and it will crack. Drag down the vacuum tube to suck up all the tooth fragments. Turn left and flip the yellow Bone switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 6 o'clock
- White: 1 o'clock
- Black: 4 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the nut driver from the right compartment. Rotate around and use this to remove 4 nuts from a vented panel. Look around the wooden edges of the cubical device to find 3 small hidden compartments, each containing a gear. Insert each of these into the opened panel, then turn the yellow handle on the left. After the voodoo doll is lowered, click on it until it falls, then pick up the hook.
Rotate to the right and attach the hook to the rope over the ear. Lower the hook with the handle, then raise it out of the machine Ear on the inside. Click on the butterfly several times and it will eventually land on one of the opened hidden compartments. Close the compartment to trap the butterfly Breaking in.
The Future: Back out and watch the black mouse disappear into a crack to the left of the large machine. Examine this and a white mouse will leave a key behind - pick up the key. Back out, then keep clicking on the black mouse as it scurries around the room No way out.
Use the key on the tall cabinet to open the right door. Examine the blueprints in the file at the top (this just shows the locations of the hidden compartments if you didn't find them already). Next examine the computer and press the down arrow, noticing the flashing code.
The Past: Drag the switches to the positions matching the code from The Future:
You will now see a code of arrows.
The Future: Press the buttons according to the code from The Past: right, left, left, up, right, down. This will reveal a grid and a code.
The Past: Enter the code Y3X1Z2 to reveal a map.
The Future: Using directions from The Past, starting from the green position in the top left of the maze, make your way to targets 1, 2 and 3 (in any order):
Back out and turn left to see the ear lowered into the room All ears. Examine this closely and use your scalpel to get a piece of flesh. Examine the device on the desk and click on the numbers until it explodes. Pick up the dark powder. Turn right and look at the coffee machine in the bottom of the tall cabinet. Put the dark powder in the top, then press the button and take the coffee. Now examine the bench here. Press the gas button on the burner, then light it with your matches. Place the water and coffee on the bench, then put the flesh in the dish on the left. You will now see a code.
The Past: Enter the code 3X2Z1Y and read the instructions.
The Future: Add acid, water and hot coffee to the flesh (in this order). Note what happens to the flesh and get a new code.
The Past: Enter the code 1Y3X2Z and read the new instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the flesh shape (in the correct order). Note the changes to the flesh and get another code.
The Past: Enter the code 2Z1X3Y and read some more instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the flesh surface (in the correct order). Note the changes to the flesh and get another code.
The Past: Enter the code 1Y2X3Z and read the next instructions.
The Future: Add the correct liquids based on the body part (in the correct order). There is an achievement if you made no mistakes during this process Frankenstein. Click on the flesh until it disappears into the large machine. Flip the yellow Flesh switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 10 o'clock
- White: 12 o'clock
- Black: 7 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the valve from the right compartment. Rotate left and use this on the triangle next to the bottle of blood, then rotate it clockwise. Turn left and pull down the red switch to reveal a complex machine.
The Future: Back out and turn right. Click on the high vent to reveal a large butterfly. Keep clicking on this until it kills the mouse. Examine the dead mouse and pick up a key. Use this key on the other tall cabinet, then take the valve from inside. Turn around and use this on the spigot, then rotate it anti-clockwise to reveal a complex machine. Flip the switch on. By communicating information back and forward, click on these symbols, pressing the red button after each one:

- Capital T
- Cross-hair
- Vertical line, circle to left
- Rectangle and 2 squares
- Sword
- Horizontal line, circle above

The Past: Flip the switch on. By communicating information back and forward, click on these symbols, pressing the red button after each one:

The Future: Back out and turn left to see blood has reached the machine. Flip the yellow Blood switch. Now press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Rotate around to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 3 o'clock
- White: 5 o'clock
- Black: 9 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece, take the hex key from the right compartment. Rotate around and use this on the top compartment to reveal a scope. Look through this to see a series of different images, each associated with a pattern.
The Future: Focus on the black cube and click on it to see the image of a candle. Enter this code based on the scope from The Past:
Now you will see the image of a chess piece. Enter this code:
Next you will see the image of a clock. Enter this code:
Finally you will see the image of a rose. Enter this code:
Click on the machine and the glass will break There will be blood. Look through the round window in the back of the machine. Click on Albert and he will crawl away. Turn left and open the tall cabinet, then talk to Albert until you can look in his pocket. Pull out the picture to see a code.
The Past: Enter the code 3XY21Z and read the message.
The Future: Back out, then examine the blackboard. Use the chalk to circle these images: eyes, future, mask, gems, cube. Click on the image of a key, then take the golden key. Back out and look at the locked box in the cabinet. Use the golden key on the lock, then open the box and take out 3 masks. Turn left and approach Albert, then put the snow mask on his face. Back out and turn around, then press the round button and note the new pointer positions.
The Past: Look down to the eyepiece and rotate the markers to match the positions from The Future:
- Red: 5 o'clock
- White: 11 o'clock
- Black: 2 o'clock
After looking through the eyepiece and clicking several times, take the voodoo needle from the right compartment. Back out and click on the butterfly so that it lands on the cubical device over the 3 cylinders. Rotate around and use the voodoo needle on the voodoo doll's eye, then push it in Dead eye. Take the white gem, then back out.
The Future: Go back to Albert. Remove the snow mask and give him the deer mask. Turn right and look at the blackboard.
The Past: Rotate to the right. Drag the switches to the positions matching the code from The Future:
Grab the red gem, then back out.
The Future: Go back to Albert. Remove the deer mask and give him the music mask. Turn right and look at the radio.
The Past: Rotate around to the keyboard, and play the notes FGDC. Take the golden gem. Click on the butterfly above, and the 3 cylinders will rotate. Insert the white, red and golden gems (from left to right). There is an achievement if you get this correct the first time Hidden treasure. You will now see a pattern on the golden cube.
The Future: Go back to the big machine and enter this code from The Past:
Take the black cube. Go back to Albert and give him the black cube. Talk to Albert, then click on the black cube. Press and hold the black cube for 10 seconds. Watch the end sequence and don't skip the credits Branching out.
The Past: Press and hold the golden cube for 10 seconds. Watch the end sequence and don't skip the credits Rooted in The Past.
Secret Minigame
Accessing this minigame is based on a code revealed in The Lab DLC of a separate game, Underground Blossom. To access the minigame, you need to start a new game, and play in The Future (either bee or butterfly).
Press the red switch to activate the cubical device, then press Enter until you are prompted to submit the year of memory. Enter 1935. Rotate the device around turn the device around so you can set the sliders as follows:
Rotate right and set the 6 switches as follows:
Now go back to the date display and press Enter. Take the green floppy disk. Insert this into the slot below. Once the game loads, you can play Run Harvey Run.
