What Comes After is a short adventure about the journey people must take after they die. You take the role of Vivi, on board a train carrying souls to their afterlife, learning about their stories. There are 11 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Good Ending

Start a new game, and you will rush to get on board a train The last train. Head left to train car 1 and listen to 5 conversations. Return right to train car 2 and listen to 10 conversations. Continue right to train car 3 and listen to 5 conversations. By now you should have listened to 20 conversations Eavesdropper. Sit in the empty seat in train car 3 and you will fall asleep The very last train.

After you wake up, head right to the next train car and talk to The Conductor. Talk to 5 ghosts here, then continue right. Talk to 9 more ghosts in this train car, then continue right once more to find a dining car, where there are 5 more ghosts to talk to. Go right once more.

Talk to the ghost on the left, then talk to the baby ghost Oh baby!. Go right and you will automatically talk to the owl ghost. Just to the right, talk to each of the 5 animal ghosts. Make sure you interact with the 2 cats and 2 dogs twice to pet them all. Continue right to find a forest car. Talk to Tiny, then talk to the 3 other plants and the deer ghost. Go right into another forest car. Talk to 2 more plants, the giraffe ghost and the elephant ghost. Make sure you pet the elephant as well Love knows no bounds.

By now you should have spoken to 6 plants and 30 ghosts Ghost whisperer. Now sit in the swing on the right and you will talk to the tree Wisdom comes with age. Head left 3 times and talk to The Chef in the dining car A meal to remember.

Continue left until you reach your empty seat back on the first train car, then sit down. Talk to Kitty when the cat arrives Nine lives aren't enough. You will eventually wake up and be told to leave the train Life is worth living.

Bad Ending

Start a new game, and you will rush to get on board the train again. Head right to train car 3 and sit in the empty seat. After you wake up, head right to the next train car and talk to The Conductor. Do not talk to any of the ghosts. Sit back down in your seat and wait for 5 minutes. You will eventually wake up and be told to leave the train I'm afraid of ghosts!.
