The Hall

Click on the handle to open the door and go through, then examine video print 01. Move forward and pick up the pyramid, then place it in the socket. Interact with the 4 parts of the device to complete a blue energy path. Advance to the next device and watch the order in which the blue stars appear, then draw a line connecting them in this order.

In the next room, move forward and examine video print 02. Look at the small pillar ahead on the right and examine it closely. Rotate the 3 concentric rings to complete a series of symbols (start from the inner disc) - pull the handle when you are done, and a bridge will rotate towards you. Walk forward on to the bridge and pick up the charged crystal stick, then turn around and pick up another one. Look at the machine on the side wall here - here you need to pull the 3 handles until the 3 symbols match. Insert your 2 charged crystal sticks into the slots at the top and bottom of the next panel. Now you need to gradually rotate the maze and bring the central handles out towards the sides. Walk out to the middle of the platform in the open area.

Look down and pick up the mechanical crystal and metal key (1 item). Go forward to the steps and pick up the coded energy conducting crystal. Watch video print 03, then turn around and watch video print 43. Look at the glowing slot nearby and insert the key, then solve another concentric ring puzzle. Pull the handle and cross over both bridges, then examine video print 42. Look at the big blue device and insert your coded energy conducting crystal - click to rotate each of the segments so they are all lit up and connected. In the next puzzle, click to rotate the hexagons so the light is transmitted from the top left hexagon around to most of the others, so that the inner 6 segments are all lit.

Go forward over the bridge, then towards the yellow panel. Examine the controls beneath and solve a series of 3 maze puzzles, where you must trace a path using the black rock through the indicated squares and tunnels towards the central target:

The Bridge

Step forward and look at the small pillar on the right, then solve the concentric rings puzzle and pull the handle. Head up both sets of steps to reach the platform above. Find video prints 04, 05, 06 and 07. Now solve the small puzzle on the side of the table to bring light from the left gem to the right gem (click on the various pieces to create 1 continuous path). Spin around the table and solve a second puzzle, then spin around to solve a third one (this last one is harder, as 2 pieces rotate together, controlled by the slider you move across the top).

Once the table has opened you need to solve another puzzle by rotating the discs so that the 9 red beams are blocked, but the 3 blue beams remain intact; this can be tricky, so here are the positions at which each beam is blocked, thinking of their orientation as a clock face:

• Inner ring: 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 8 o'clock, 10 o'clock
• Middle ring: 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 9 o'clock
• Outer ring: 11 o'clock

Go around to the next chair to the left, and take the double pyramid key crystal from its back. Return to the chair to the right and insert this on the back, then sit on the chair. Double-click on the purple crystal when you see it, and you will end up in space. Double-click on the ship to return The Bridge.

The River

Step forward and watch video print 08. Turn around and pick up the coded energy conducting crystal. Turn around again and approach the puzzle on the left first, then solve a series of 4 sliding block puzzles, completing one lit path around the cube. Once you are done, pick up the 2 uncharged crystal energy sticks with metal caps. Now examine the puzzle on the right, and solve 2 more puzzles, this time clicking the circles to flip over the puzzle pieces to create a complete lit path. Charge your 2 crystal energy sticks here, then pick them up again. Go to the other glowing device here and insert your coded energy conducting crystal - click to rotate each of the segments so they are all lit up and connected. This will then display a complicated-looking puzzle, where you must slide the triangles to the left and right so that the black squares are all lined up across the middle:

Go out on to the boat and turn around to see 2 dials. Rotate these so that you create the indicated symbol by using 2 overlapping symbols, then press it when it glows and flashes. Insert your 2 charged energy sticks into the empty slots, then click on the crystals to rotate them so they are all connected to the middle.

After the boat trip, press the glowing button to release some crystals and reveal a controller on the right. You need to turn the rings to align the glowing particles. Repeat this with the second controller on the left. Press the glowing button again to clear the obstruction and continue your trip. Press the button again when you stop a second time. When the boat stops, turn around and pick up the large charged crystal energy stick. Leave the boat, go up the stairs and look at the machine to the left. Pull the 3 handles until the 3 symbols match, then solve another maze rotation puzzle. You will automatically head through the large doors.

Walk forward and watch video print 09, then board the next boat. Turn around and solve a puzzle where you must rotate three discs to combine their symbols to match 3 more complex symbols. Now insert your large charged energy crystal in the central slot and click on the other crystals to rotate them so they are all connected to the middle. When the boat stops, press the glowing button to release some crystals and reveal a controller on the right. Align the glowing particles here, then repeat this with the second controller on the left. Press the glowing button again to clear the obstruction and continue your trip. Step off on to the left platform and solve another puzzle where you need to rotate and join each of the small segments. You will then see another triangle sliding puzzle:

Take the coded energy conducting crystal you just used, then cross the new bridge and watch video print 10. Place your crystal in the slot on the right, then stand on the yellow platform The River.

The Beginning

Walk up the stairs on the left, then into the glowing structure to see a cutscene. Look down at the 3 glowing symbols on the floor panel, and in particular note the smaller markers around their edges. Now look around and watch video prints 11 and 13. Go over to the metal dome and change the 3 displayed symbols to those you just saw, so they match the smaller markers on display. Once all 3 are correct, a new puzzle will be displayed. You need to move the 5 crystals to guide the sphere into the middle hole. For the first puzzle, place the crystals at 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 8 o'clock, 11 o'clock and 12 o'clock. Spin around to the second puzzle, and move the crystals to 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock. Spin around to the third puzzle, and move the yellow crystal to 9 o'clock, and the others to 1 o'clock, 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock.

Approach the opened dome and pick up the crystal triangle with metal cap. Back out and turn around, taking an energy conducting crystal stick from the small pedestal near the other broken dome. Place this in the other pedestal, then add your crystal triangle in the empty position. You now need to get all the tips facing inwards; the easiest solution is 2 click the left triangle twice, the top-right triangle once, and the bottom-left triangle once. Head to the door that is now glowing, and press the symbols at the top-left, bottom-left and top-right to get through.

Go down the stairs to the left and get the coded energy conducting crystal. Return up the stairs, then straight down the opposite ones. Insert the crystal here - click to rotate each of the segments so they are all lit up and connected. Go alongside the huge machine that has started up. Turn around and look at the ground to find a small levitating metal sphere, then use it on the sphere hologram above the opposite small pedestal. In a similar puzzle to the one on the boat, you need to adjust the 2 dials here to line up the light beams with the orbs. Retrieve the sphere and use it on the hologram above the next pedestal. Click on the 6 half-blue spheres until they are all connected to the middle blue sphere, then click on it and they will all turn purple. Repeat the process with the 6 half-purple spheres, then with 6 half-yellow spheres.

Retrieve the sphere again and go to the next pedestal, but it is not active. Turn around and take the energy conducting crystal stick from the inactive pedestal opposite, then place it in the one you need. Use your sphere on the hologram when it appears. Now you must play a simple repetition game - just click the triangular segments in the same order that they flash for you. Once you are done, pick up the levitating metal sphere again and go back through the glowing door. Go straight across to the opposite glowing door, and press the symbols at the top, left and bottom to get through.

Head up the stairs and watch video print 12, then use the sphere on the hologram. Turn around and return through the door, then go up the steps on the right towards the huge lens. Spin the lens until the beam is focused and the alien is hatched. Zoom in on the alien, then spin around to face it. Click on hold its triangular heart until it dies, then take the alien heart. Jump through the hole in the floor behind you The Lab.

The Den

Walk forward and watch video print 14, then continue forward through the doorway of light. Head up the steps and watch video print 15. Turn right and head towards the next steps, then turn left and find a path down so you are closer to the edge of the red vortex. Approach the square panel; click twice on each of the 4 corner pieces, then drag them into the middle to open the panel and reveal a puzzle - you need to move the orange and blue tubes to swap their starting positions. If the positions are numbered 1-7 from left to right, click on the tubes in this order: 5, 3, 2, 4, 6, 7, 5, 3, 1, 2, 4, 6, 5, 3, 4. Approach the new raised pedestal. Lift up each of the 3 clips, slide them clockwise and press them down in their new positions. Now click and hold the blue button until the bodies rise up out of the red vortex.

Go back up to the starting area and continue up the opposite stairs. Approach the pedestal with the glowing blue puzzle pieces. You need to rotate these to create a diamond prism shape, but the arrows also need to all line up correctly. Pick up the small console ring from the floor nearby. Go over to the huge cube and rotate the small glass lenses on each of the 6 faces - when you are done, you should see a series of lines being constantly drawn within the middle of the cube. Back out and go to the pedestal from just before, then draw the same shape in the same order on the display here (left, bottom, right, left, top, right). Take the crystal octahedron from inside the pedestal.

Go down to the starting area and continue up the opposite stairs, up to the opposite high platform. Approach the pedestal here and insert your console ring. Solve the next puzzle that appears by clicking on the 3 outer buttons to create alike symbols around each of them, and have the middle 3 circles blank - a huge alien being will come up out of the vortex.

Return to the starting area and go straight up the stairs and up into the chest of the huge alien. Approach the device containing 3 spinning platforms. You need to rotate the outer disc and press the button to get the orbs on each of the spinning platforms to face the front. Once you are done, go forward and up to the top of the huge alien. Pull the lever up here.

Jump down to the right arm and examine the blue hatch. Slide each of the 4 pieces out to the edge and twist them so they push in. After the panel opens, you need to make all 7 crystals glow - if they are numbered 1 to 7, press crystals 1, 4 and 7. Jump over to the left arm and examine the gold hatch, opening it the same way. After this panel opens, you need to again make all 7 crystals glow - if they are numbered 1 to 7, press crystals, 2, 3, 6 and 7.

Jump back to the chest. Look at the orb to the left side, then click and hold to open it. Press each of the 7 cylinders, then drag the handle to the side to activate the left hand. Remove the center ring from this orb, then turn around and look at the orb on the right side. Click and hold to open this one as well. Press each of the 7 cylinders, then insert the center ring and drag the handle to the side.

Look outside to the cavern and jump down to the left blue door. Go to a niche on the wall to the left and pick up the pyramid top. Turn back towards the blue door and head up the stairs to the left. Examine the platform with the multiple pyramid fragments, and gradually fit them into the hologram in the middle:

1. Place the smallest, flattest piece in the middle at the bottom
2. Insert the 3 tallest pieces around this, making sure the highlighted lines match up
3. Insert the 3 pieces that tilt appropriately to fill the gaps, making sure the highlighted lines match up
4. Insert the 3 pieces that tilt sideways, making sure the highlighted lines match up
5. Place the remaining piece on top
6. Add the pyramid top from your inventory

There are now a group of 3 controls/displays you need to use together to solve the next puzzle. The large circular display with 3 concentric rings and symbols in the middle show what you need to solve - the 3 central symbols need to align with their spinning counterparts. You can move these by entering a code on the diamond keypad to the side. You can determine the code using the separate control panel over to the left. It will take several code entries to get all 3 symbols aligned together.

Head back through the nearby blue door, then across to the right one. Watch video print 16, then examine the pedestal. Flip the pieces around to create a diamond shape, then place your crystal octahedron on it. Spin the holographic structure until the light beams are successfully connected The Den.
