Psycho is a 3rd person graphic adventure based on the book and subsequent movie of the same name. You take the role of a detective investigating a jewelry theft, and find yourself in the Bates Motel. You have a limited time to conduct your investigation, find a way to defend yourself, and then get out alive.

Outside

Walk right to the front porch then left to the rocking chair. Search here and take your first clue. Open the front door and go inside.

1st Floor

Head down from the foyer to return to the entrance. Dig in the pot plant on the right, then search and take a skeleton key. Go back to the foyer and open the middle door to find the pantry; if there is a bad guy here leave and try again. Walk over to the right and open the dumbwaiter. Go up and take the gun and ammo; from now on you can just Fire to kill any bad guys. Go down 3 times and leave the dumbwaiter.

Basement

Go left from the gardener's room. Dig in the coal, then search and take another key. Open the double doors, then go inside and view the curator to see a message about finding the medicine. Leave this room and go back up the stairs and into the dumbwaiter. Go up 4 times and leave the dumbwaiter.

2nd Floor

Go to the end of the hall and open the door on the left to find the master bedroom. Walk to the left then go down. View the items, then search the closet and take the medicine (if it isn't here, leave and come back to try again). Leave this room and return down to the dumbwaiter. Go down 4 times and leave again.

Basement

Go left, then into the room with the curator and use the medicine on him to get a combination (if you can't use the medicine you are too late to save him and and have to restart). Leave this room and go back up the stairs and into the dumbwaiter. Go up 4 times and leave the dumbwaiter.

2nd Floor

Go up the stairs on the left.

3rd Floor

Open the far door on the right side to enter the hall bathroom. Search the wall cabinet and take the pills; use these when your health says "Sleepy" to avoid falling asleep and losing more time. Leave the bathroom and return down the stairs.

2nd Floor

Go through the far door on the right side into a bed and bath, and fire at the mother (if she isn't here, go out and come back in again). Leave this room and go upstairs again.

3rd Floor

Open the double doors on the left to reach the seance room, then go through the double doors on the left. Go forward to go through the doors at the top of the stairs.

Attic

Shoot the mother again (you must have already shot her in the bed and bath for this to work). Go to the far left and use your combination to open the safe, then take the jewels. Now leave the house the way you came in to escape.
