Box of Secrets

Turn on the small light switch, then turn the key to open the box. There are 4 items inside, and clicking on each one will launch a new chapter:

• Toy Lizard: The Paludarium
• Captured Moth: The House of the Moon
• Seashell: The Last Sandcastle
• Screwdriver: Familiar

After completing each chapter, you will return to the view of the box so you can choose another item.

The Paludarium

Click on each of the 8 window panes. Once the phone starts ringing, answer it. Leave through the doorway to the bottom left, then through the next one to the bottom right. Pick up the glass jar from the kitchen bench, then return through the top left doorway. Put on your slippers, then go outside. Examine each of the patches of dirt and flip over the cards to collect a total of 5 snails. Return up the stairs to go inside, then climb up the new stairs.

Search the box on the left to find an extension cord, then give it to your dad. Examine the picture on the ground next to him and click on the pieces of it to rotate them into position.

Go over and examine the paludarium, and you will feed Hugo the snails. Next use the computer - play the simple space game and collect the 4 diamonds. Look through the telescope. Head back downstairs and into the kitchen again. Examine the broken place on the ground and piece it back together. Go out through the doorway to the top left.

Examine the dark area to the top right. Click on the images of the stream, then the bird, then the small vines. Enter the lit area and you will lie down.

The House of the Moon

Click on the fruit and lemonade until it is all gone, then drag the scene to the right. Close the doors, then keep dragging the scene until the moon appears. Click several times until you fall asleep.

Drag the scene again. Click to uncover footprints that lead you further to the right, then click on the small boat. Search with the binoculars until you discover the blue glowing dust, then click on it. Drag the scene up, then click on the bushes to reveal some more dust. Drag the scene back down and click on the boat again.

Drag the scene to the right, then click on the boat. Search with the binoculars to find some more glowing dust, then click on the dust. Drag the scene up, then click on the rocks to reveal more dust. Drag the scene back down and click on the boat again.

Drag the scene to the right, then click on the boat. Search with the binoculars to find some more glowing dust, then click on the dust. Drag the scene up, then focus your flashlight on the bushes to reveal more dust. Go further up and focus your flashlight on the bushes again to find even more. At the top, drag the scene to the right to discover a house. Go inside and drag the scene to the right.

The Last Sand Castle

Click on the bottom left door and wait until the flute makes it to the pool at the bottom right. Click on the door above this, and a crab will fish it out of the pool - it will end up in the holes to the left. Click on the creature 3 times as it pops its head out of the holes. Once the flute is dropped at the top right door, click on it - the starfish creature will eventually grab the flute and start playing.

Open the window on the tall tower to the left, then click on the creature inside to wake him up. Knock on the door and he will come out to play his saxophone, but there is a crayfish inside it. Click on the white shell, then on the saxophone, but this is not the correct home. Click on the orange shell, then on the saxophone, but this is also not the correct home. Click on the sand pile several times to reveal a blue shell. Click on this, then on the saxophone - the green creature will now start playing.

Click on the drumstick on top of the small building several times until it falls. Now all of the musicians will play together for a while.

Familiar

Place the screws in the right jar, the nuts in the middle jar, and the dowels in the left jar. Pick up the screwdriver, then pick up each of the screws and put them in line with the screw holes in the hinge. Now click on the screws repeatedly to screw them in (the top screw will fall out, so just try again).

Click on the nuts to flick them around until the scene changes again. Place the 4 pieces of dowel in the corners of the board. Click on the handle to pick it up. Now keep clicking on it quickly until it eventually breaks, then click on the small black object.

Click on the small pieces to rotate them as they are pointed to by the other hand, and eventually you will give up. Pick up the screwdriver, then pick up each of the screws and put them in the holes. Now click on the screws repeatedly to screw them in.

Click on the tape to cut it, then click to stick it down. Repeat this a second time. Click on the nails repeatedly to hit them in, repeating this when they come out again. Push on the drawer repeatedly to force it in.
