The Goat in the Grey Fedora: Remastered

Nick's Office

Take the spy kit from your shelves to get a spy camera, rope cutters and C4 explosive. Pick up the ruler from your desk, then leave the office.

Law Office

Eat some pretzels from the bowl on the counter, then talk to the secretary. Convince her you are a lawyer by using these phrases:

• Habeas corpus
• Ex post facto
• Modus operandi

Now you can enter the office. Pick up the tape from the desk, then use the copier to make a copy of your face. Inspect the wall safe, then try to use the C4 explosive on the safe to find out it is just play-dough. Leave the office and show the goat photo to the secretary. Leave by heading right.

Chinatown

Go to the News Stand first. Try to buy the Modern Sculptor magazine, then talk to the Stick Puppet about everything. In your inventory combine the printout and ruler, then add the tape to to make a stick puppet. Show this to the Stick Puppet and you will perform together. Now you can take the Modern Sculptor magazine. Back out from here.

Enter the Pawn Shop. Talk to the Stuffy Englishman, then show him the goat photo. Look at the mailing list on the bench, then try to use your spy camera on it. Now talk to the Stuffy Englishman about everything. Give him your completed mailing list index card (choose any name for now). Talk to him again to get the card back, then leave the shop.

Now enter the Mysterious Shop. Show the goat photo to the shop owner. Buy the black light from the shelves, and the abstract blob from on top of the barrel to the right. Combine the wad of silly putty in your inventory with the mailing list index card. Leave here.

Return to the Pawn Shop. Give your card with putty to the Stuffy Englishman (choose Nick Trounty), then ask for it back once more. Leave the shop and head right.

Trosser Mansion

After the conversation, head left into the fakes room. Turn off the right lamp and unscrew its bulb, then put in your black light and turn the lamp back on. Look at the goat statues to see faint markings on them. Turn off the left lamp, then look at the goat statues again. Leave the room by going right, then go out the front door.

Chinatown

Enter the restaurant and you will receive a match. Talk to Sam the cop about everything, including about Mr Trosser. Leave the restaurant again.

Warehouse

Kick the corn-dog at your feet and you will end up with your bag of stuff. Use your rope cutters and then matches on the ropes to free yourself. Pick up the bomb from the left, then open the huge crate in the back of the room. Use the scoop tractor on the right. Now use the bomb on the giant kraken.

Kitty's House

Go inside and look at everything on the coffee table, then try to head left to the kitchen. Inspect the broken goat on the floor to find an old key. Leave the house and go left.

Law Office

Enter the office and use the old key on the wall safe.

Chinatown

Enter the Mysterious Shop again and talk to the shop owner to get a goat replica.

Kitty's House

You will automatically hand over the goat replica, then go to the law office and wait for Kitty.

Law Office

Use your stick puppet on Kitty 3 times so she runs out of bullets.
