Introduction
When Ari asks you a question, transmit YES. In the Darylak system, click on STARTUP, then DIAGNOSTICS and finally DEPLOY. As you approach the freighter, click ANALYSIS, then target your laser at the door control just right of the door. When prompted by Ari, click FLOODLIGHT. Look around until Ari asks you to grab a floating green object, then use your GRAPPLE-ARM followed by ANALYSIS. When Zack asks you a question, transmit a YES signal.
Encounter
Straight after the crash, click on ANALYSIS the see the Artemis power grid. Turn each of the connectors around so the middle section can send power to each system with a matching color on the edge of the grid. When Ari asks you to, use ANALYSIS again. Click on STARTUP, then DIAGNOSTICS and finally DEPLOY. Click on FLOODLIGHT when Ari asks, then look around until the team moves forward again.
Go through the nearly closed doorway when prompted, then fly through the next area, turn around and come back towards the door. Look at the second group of holes on the right, then at the lower group of 3 holes, and finally zoom in to the top left hole to see a live alien. Quickly shoot it with your laser. Use ANALYSIS on the creature, then use your GRAPPLE-ARM to get the purple orb it is holding. Go back through the doorway out of this area and answer NO to Ari's question. After a quick visit to the toilets, you will end up in a central hub.
Yellow Door
Use ANALYSIS on the door, then enter the code as YELLOW and click SAVE. Press your yellow light to continue. At the puzzle screen, you need to light up all paths on the central symbol by rotating the ones around the outside. If you number the symbols 1-6 clockwise from the top right, the solutions are:
- Level 1: 22, 333, 4444, 55555
- Level 2: 22, 3333, 4, 555, 66666
- Level 3: 1, 22,333, 4444, 55555
- Level 4: 11, 2, 333, 4444, 55555
- Level 5: 1, 22, 33
- Level 6: 1111, 4, 66
When you reach the console after the elevator ride, use ANALYSIS then press your green light to open the shutters. At the puzzle screen, you need to change all the orbs to yellow by clicking on them. The solution seems random each time; just bear in mind that the orbs work in two separate units that can be solved individually.
After shooting the Krinn, quickly press the purple button to close the shutters. Now quickly use ANALYSIS to see your logic circuits. If you number the gates 1-9 clockwise from the top right, toggle the switches in this order: 3524691.
Blue Door
Use ANALYSIS on the door, then enter the code as BLUE and click SAVE. Press your blue light to continue. At the puzzle screen, you need to rotate the outer symbols so they do not overlap when translated into the middle. The starting positions are random each time.
When Zack is falling and you catch him, keep hitting THRUST repeatedly until you reach safety again (not too quickly though or you will overheat). Rotate around to look at the front of the statue, then press your blue light to see another puzzle. You can move 4 planets around by clicking on their symbol at the bottom right, then moving them with the controls at the bottom left. You need to create an eclipse with the other non-controllable planet. If you number the planets 1-4 from left to right, position them as follows:
- Planet 1: 4:30 position
- Planet 2: 3:00 position
- Planet 3: 3:00 position
- Planet 4: 3:30 position
Now turn around to look at the base of the statue, select your saved BLUE code and click SEND to get another orb.
Orange Door
Use ANALYSIS on the door, then enter the code as ORANGE and click SAVE. Press your orange light to continue. At the puzzle screen, you need to match shapes with similar profiles. Click on the pairs of shapes with the same numbers in the layout below (note you must stop their rotation to make the symbols look the same in order to get a match, and pair 6 must actually be mirror images rather than the same shape):
In the sick bay, turn right from the door and zoom in on the object just past the examination table. Select your saved ORANGE code and click SEND, then use your GRAPPLE-ARM to get the next orb. Now turn left from the door and zoom in on the floating object past the other examination table. Click your buttons in this order: red, blue, purple, orange, purple.
Green Door
Use ANALYSIS on the door, then enter the code as GREEN and click SAVE. Press your green light to continue. At the puzzle screen, you need to position mirrors within the triangular grid to deflect the colored lights to their flashing points around the perimeter. You can mix the primary colors as needed. Position your mirrors for the 6 levels as follows:
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 4
Level 5
Level 6
Once you reach the tunnels, turn around and go backward along the platform to find another orb dispenser, then select your saved GREEN code and click SEND to get another orb. Now go forward into the dark tunnel and use your FLOODLIGHT so you can see. Once in the tunnels, go forward twice, turn left, go forward twice, turn left, go forward, turn left, go forward, turn left, go forward, turn right and go forward twice.
Purple Door
Use ANALYSIS on the door, then enter the code as PURPLE and click SAVE. Press your purple light to continue. At the puzzle screen, this is a game against the computer where you need to complete a closed loop of at least 4 segments.
At the panel in front of you, click each of your colored buttons and a picture may be displayed. You are looking for one with 3 symbols beneath it: orange, green and yellow. Use ANALYSIS on this, enter the code as FINALE and click SAVE. Back away from this room when you are done. When Ari gets trapped, quickly select your saved PURPLE code and click SEND to save Ari and get another orb.
Finale
You should now have 5 orbs. Go to the yellow door and press your yellow light to go through. Continue forward through another door, then turn left and head through another door. Turn around and find another dispenser on the ground next to the door, then select your saved YELLOW code and click SEND. Use your GRAPPLE-ARM to get the last orb. Back out from the dispenser, then return to the hub by going through the door, turning right and going through 2 more doors.
Now go to the orange door and press your orange light to go through. Continue force through another door to return to the sick bay. Turn right and zoom in on the alien hand on the floor, and use your GRAPPLE-ARM to get it. Head back to the hub. Zack will throw the hand away, so look at it and pick it up with your GRAPPLE-ARM again.
After an elevator ride, Ari will ask you to communicate with the alien. Select your saved FINALE code and click SEND.
