Come Back: Chapter 1 is the first part of an enigmatic point and click adventure game. You awaken on a mysterious shoreline with a series of notes and puzzles guiding you forward, hopefully to recover your memories and allow you to return home. There are 15 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Gull Island

Beach

Try clicking on the wooden door 50 times This game is hard!. Now click anywhere else another 250 times Try harder!. Grab the bottle from the ocean to get your first note (1/12) Who left that?. Note the round stone with the symbol of a snake and 2 dots. Now head up the stairs to reach the middle of the island.

Berth

Grab the axe, and look at the post on the jetty for the next note (2/12). Note the round stone with the symbol of a puffer fish and 4 dots.

Lighthouse

Search the mailbox for another note (3/12). Note the round stone with the symbol of a bird and 3 dots. Enter the lighthouse, but the ladder is broken.

Waterfall

Use your axe to cut the hanging vines on the right, then pick up another note (4/12). Note the round stone with the symbol of a pig and 1 dot.

Beach

Use your axe to destroy the door, then enter the beach shack. Take the paddles and the shovel, then read the note (9/12) in the book on the table.

Berth

Use the paddles on the boat, then use the boat to travel to a new island.

Wreck Island

Use your shovel to dig at the X in the ground, then take the next note (10/12), paying attention to the sequence written on it. Go right along the beach to the pier and pick up the satellite dish and the crowbar, then leave this island again.

Gull Island

Rock

Use your crowbar on the large rock, then enter the cave. Click on the skull Gray Beard's Bounty. Pick up the coconut, then open the chest and take a battery.

Berth

Use the boat to travel again.

Wreck Island

Approach the building and go through the main doors. In this room you can put 2 ingredients in the funnels on the right to create a dish. If you want to make another dish, back out of the building and go inside again. Make a dish of crab and rice 8 times Five-star chef. Next make a dish of mango and banana Beach cocktail. Finally make a dish of walnut and coconut (from your inventory). Take the note (5/12), paying attention to the frequency of 243.00 written on it.

Leave this room, then go through the small door on the right of the building. Place the satellite dish on top of the machine, then put your battery in the empty slot towards the right Handyman. Adjust the frequency using the slider, and listen to frequency 169.00 for a while Have we lost Paulette?. Now listen to frequency 243.00 for a while, and take the note (12/12), paying attention to the Morse code written on it (translates to "BITE").

Leave the building, then follow the path to the right into the forest. Examine the box on the tree stump, and enter the Morse code for "LAN" (.-...--.) ---...---...---...---. Now enter the Morse code for "BITE" (-.....-.). Pick up a key and another note (11/12). Go back to the beach and leave the island.

Gull Island

Building

Use your key on the lock, then head inside. Based on the 4 round stones you saw earlier, set the animal symbols as follows from left to right:

  1. Pig
  2. Snake
  3. Bird
  4. Puffer fish

Pull the lever on the left and take the key. Use this key on the lock to the right, then go through this door. Take the note (6/12) from the left wall. Click on the red words on the board to the right I know it's useless but it helps me thinking!. Count the letters in each of the red words (2, 7, 5, 3, 6, 9). Click on the portrait over the bed, then take another key.

Go back to the previous room. Enter the code 123456 in the bottom part of the machine H@cK3rZ. Now enter the code based on the red words you just saw, 275369. Take the note (7/12) and the light bulb.

Berth

Use the boat once more.

Wreck Island

Enter the main part of the building, then use you key on the lock to the left. Go through the door to find a machine controlling water pressure. Turn any of the valves, then press the reset button. Repeat this 8 times Maximum power. Now you need to turn the valves so the gauges all drop to 0. The fastest way is to turn these valves the opposite of the order written on note 10 (if they are numbered 1-4 from left to right): 3, 4, 3, 3, 4, 1, 2, 1 Mystery drain.

Pick up the ladder.

Lighthouse

Go inside and use your ladder, then climb up. Insert the light bulb. Quickly click on the left side of the drawer to get the final note (8/12) Collector.
