Chook and Sosig: Walk the Plank is a comedy 3rd person point-and-click adventure game. You take the role of Sosig, who sits down with a group of friends to play a pirate-themed role-playing game set on a series of small islands. There are 10 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Cape Codnapper

Talk to Captain Min on the left, then Chook to the right, then Fortune Teller Hebble further to the right. Now enter the shop. Pick up the wall torch, then examine the fish bowl I hope he remembers me!. Next talk to Merchant Cow until you find out about the note. Examine the flamingo pot in the corner of the room to see where the next note will be hidden. Find the item shown and examine it to find a second note, which will have a picture of someone you have already met. Talk to them to receive a third note. Find the item shown and examine it to find the final note - this will show you a code comprising 4 symbols.

Open the side panel on the fountain to reveal a control panel. Press the buttons until the 4 symbols you have just seen on the final note are displayed. Now raise the lever on the left to turn on the fountain. Return to Captain Min, who will now let you set sail. Travel to the island at the southwest.

Goblin Isle

Head to the far right to meet the goblins. Examine the parrot, then talk to the naughty goblin about everything. Now take the parrot. Show the parrot to the cheeky goblin (1/18) and the naughty goblin (2/18). Return left and examine the conservation sign. Look at all three panels. Now wait near the windsock and eventually a Kakapo will appear in the bushes to the right of the sign. Quickly examine it while it is dancing I see you!. Head along the jetty to travel again.

Cape Codnapper

Show the parrot to Captain Min (3/18), then use the parrot on the rum kegs to the left. Use the torch on the rum kegs to soak it with rum, then return to the world map. Travel to the island at the northwest.

Sea Shrine

Go over towards the door and click on the dragon's eye. Now you need to manipulate the various legs to get the door open: leg, also a leg, the best leg, a fine leg, and the best leg. Touch the hand-print on the door, then go through. Use the switch, then go down the stairs and show the parrot to Cow (4/18). Talk to Cow, then return to the green fire near the stairs and use your torch on it to light it.

Goblin Isle

Use your lighted torch on the goblins' cooking pot (1/5), and you will automatically take the rusty blunt scissors.

Cape Codnapper

Try to use your lighted torch on the rum kegs I wanted to see it burn!. Enter the shop and give the mystery gift voucher to Merchant Cow, then search the mysterious box on the floor to get some sandpaper. Show the parrot to Merchant Cow (5/18), then head back outside. Show the parrot to Chook (6/18) and Fortune Teller Hebble (7/18).

Goblin Isle

Use your sandpiper on your scissors, then use these on the thick leafy mass in the middle of the island. Pick up the orchid, then head to the world map. Sail to the island to the east.

Adventurer's Guild

Show the parrot to Explorer Hebble (8/18), then talk to him. Click on the picture of kittens until it is completely gone, then examine the oddly sparse map. Talk to Explorer Hebble again, then use the lumi orchid on the map (1/8) and on the banner (2/8) just to the left. Head out and travel to the northeast island.

Forsaken Atoll

Show the parrot to Viking Min (9/18), then talk to her. Use your lighted torch on the campfire (2/5), and your lumi orchid on the carved boulder (3/8). Next sail to the island to the far north.

The Beast Below

Walk to the left beneath the seagull boxes, then use your lumi orchid on the octopus mural (4/8). Now head down the stairs into the tavern. Examine the chalkboard, the cocktail menu and the large tome. Use your lumi orchid on the large tome (5/8). Show the parrot to Barkeep Cow (10/18) and Waitstaff Hebble (11/18), then talk to both of them. Go back outside and travel to the island to the far west.

Bottle Mail Central

Show the parrot to Goblin with Bottle (12/18) and Goblin Queen Min (13/18), then talk to both of them in that order. Talk to Goblin with Bottle again to learn about the polar bear, then leave.

Adventurer's Guild

Use your parrot on the bear rug's tail. Take the gull mail card from the bear's head, and you will automatically retrieve the parrot.

The Beast Below

Enter the tavern and give the gull mail card to Barkeep Cow in exchange for a token. Head back outside and use this on the coin panel beneath the seagull boxes. Use the lever twice, and the third time it will jam. Use your scissors on the rope, then look at the very angry seagull, which is holding the missing flyer piece.

Sea Shrine

Use your lumi orchid on the crumbling wall (6/8) to the right, then head inside and use it on the rubble (7/8) next to the base of the stairs. Talk to Cow about his calming poems.

Cape Codnapper

Enter the shop and use your lighted torch on the candles (3/5) and more candles (4/5). Talk to Merchant Cow about pens.

The Beast Below

Enter the tavern and talk to Waitstaff Hebble to get a dried up pen.

Adventurer's Guild

Use your dried up pen on the stuff squid on the wall

Sea Shrine

Enter the shrine and go downstairs, then give the inky pen to Cow - you will receive a poem.

The Beast Below

Use your poem on the very angry seagull, then take the missing flyer piece from it. Now you can sail to the island to the southeast.

Haunted Cove

Go down the stairs, then all the way to the right. Examine the pole, then pick it up. Now show the parrot to Dragon (14/18), then talk to it. Leave again and travel to the island to the far south.

Secret Reef

Examine the radio 8 times This is my song!. Use your lumi orchid on the boat (8/8) Let it shine!. Open the stove door, then use your lighted torch on the stove door (5/5) Firestarter!. Pick up the rope from the ground here, then leave.

Cape Codnapper

Enter the shop and talk to Merchant Cow about the doll.

The Beast Below

Enter the tavern and talk to Waitstaff Hebble about the doll. Talk to Barkeep Cow about the doll, then click the green arrow Updoot!. Talk to Barkeep Cow again and this time click the red arrow. Now talk to Waitstaff Hebble again, then pick up the Galaxy Princess.

Cape Codnapper

Go to the far right and pick up the kettle.

Secret Reef

Put the kettle on the stove-top, then turn the tap and the curtains will open. Show the parrot to Mermaid Hebble (15/18), then talk to him. You will receive a poster stack (really just 3 posters).

Goblin Isle

Use your poster stack on the conservation sign, then look at it.

Cape Codnapper

Enter the story and try to use the posters on the bulletin board. Go back outside and head to the far right to talk to Fortune Teller Hebble. Return to the shop and use the posters on the bulletin board successfully.

Haunted Cove

Give the Galaxy Princess to the dragon, and you will receive a shovel head - combine this with the pole from earlier to construct a shovel.

The Beast Below

Enter the tavern and use the last poster on the poster board. Use your scissors on it, or Barkeep Cow will force you to take it down again.

Secret Reef

Talk to Mermaid Hebble, who will give you details of a new location. Set sail and go through the fog to the far southwest, but you cannot land here yet.

Forsaken Atoll

Ask Viking Min about the fog. Remove the net to the right, then use your rope on the engine. Next use your parrot on the winch. Grab the chisel from the lobster pot, then use it on the figurehead to the left.

Adventurer's Guild

Press the red button on Explorer Hebble's desk, then use your lighted torch on the desk cannon. Talk to Explorer Hebble. Use the parrot on Explorer Hebble, then on the desk cannon. Use your lighted torch on the desk cannon once more, then take the stone tablet from the wall.

Forsaken Atoll

Use the stone tablet on the figurehead. Now travel to the new location to the far southwest.

Undersea Palace

Use your chisel on the stubborn clam half way down the stairs. Click on the stream of bubbles to the right, then the collection of bubbles to the left, and finally the flurry of bubbles at the top. Now you can pick up the pearl. Head down the stairs and show the parrot to Sea Goddess Hebble (16/18), then talk to him. Now show the parrot to Goblin in a Cage (17/18) and talk to him as well.

Bottle Mail Central

Ask Goblin Queen Min about the mail, then ask Goblin with Bottle about the mail. Insert your pearl into the base of the weather vane.

Undersea Palace

Talk to Sea Goddess Hebble about everything. Examine the gray antique bottle to the right of Goblin in a Cage, and you will get a worrying mail.

Forsaken Atoll

Examine the barrel-o-fish, then show the worrying letter to Viking Min.

Undersea Palace

Give the worrying letter to Goblin in a Cage, but he won't sign it unless you bring him some food.

Haunted Cove

Use your completed shovel on the x-marks-the-spot over to the right, and you will uncover a chest. Open this to release a ghost. Show the parrot to Ghost Min (18/18) Please look at my son, then talk to him.

Cape Codnapper

Go right and talk to Chook, who will give you some chalk. Continue right and look at the skull (Hebble's weird things), then talk to Fortune Teller Hebble - make sure you examine all 4 ingredients on the recipe, or you won't be able to collect the spindleshrooms later. Talk to him again about everything else. Take some used tea leaves from the teacup on the ground

The Beast Below

Enter the tavern and use your chalk on the chalkboard. Talk to Barkeep Cow about everything and you will end up getting a "skeleton dance" cocktail. Also pick up the large hunk o' meat from the table.

Haunted Cove

Head down the stairs and over to the right, and pick up the strange long mushrooms (spindleshrooms).

Goblin Isle

Go over to the cooking pot and throw in the used tea leaves, cocktail and spindleshrooms. Now examine the pot, then use your empty bottle on it to get a clairvoyance potion.

Undersea Palace

Give the large hunk o' meat to Goblin in a Cage, and he will sign your letter.

Cape Codnapper

Give the clairvoyance potion to Fortune Teller Hebble, then take Min's skull.

Haunted Cove

Give Min's skull to Ghost Min, then open the chest What's in the box?.

The game will finish, but after quitting you can select to Continue the game to see another ending.

Forsaken Atoll

Give the letter to Viking Min Divinity suits me!.
