Time Travel Lab
Read the clipboard on the high shelf between the computer monitors. Look at the device next to the left computer screen. You need to find a path of numbers within the grid:
You need to enter the directions you would need to travel along this number path: up, left, down, right, right, right. You can take out the test tubes from the centrifuge and place them on the scales here to see various 2-letter codes:
- Yellow: ZR
- Orange: MG
- Green: GA
- Red: NA
- Purple: KR
- Blue: SB
Look at cabinet A, which shows a periodic table, and indicates 3 specific positions of test tubes in the centrifuge. You need to find the atomic numbers for these elements. The tubes in question are red (11), purple (36) and green (31). Enter this code in the panel at the top of the cabinet: 113631.
Next examine the machine next to the right computer monitor. Drag the 6 overlays onto the machine to form 2 complete rectangles. You will need to pay attention to the symbols showing here later on.
Now go to the game at the far right of this bench. Here you need to use logic to fill the board with black and white tokens:
Notice the colored dots that appear on the front of this game once it is complete. Go over to cabinet B and press the buttons indicated by these colored dots to spell the word TEMPUS:
Now you need to use the numbers inside both cabinets, with the symbols from the overlay puzzle, to generate 3-digit numbers for the combination lock beneath the left computer screen:
- 9 − 6 = 3
- 3 + 5 = 8
- 2 × 2 = 4
- 2 × 3 = 6
- 1 + 5 = 6
- 7 − 2 = 5
Enter this code: 384665. Take the hexagon from the opened drawer. Now look up at the side of the cabinet above. You need to arrange a series of 7 symbols, based on the information on the right computer screen. Below is the layout of the discs on the bench, and where they need to go on the side of the cabinet:
Take the brass key from the opened cabinet. Use this on the locked box on the wall, then examine the box and you will automatically insert your hexagon. Now you need to rotate the hexagons so they have the same number of spikes connecting adjacent hexagons:
The door will now open TIME TRAVEL LAB. Head through the red corridor into the time machine.
Mayan Temple
Look at the large grid of hexagon buttons on the wall - you need to find a path from the top left to the bottom right. Search around the area to see pairs of symbols on various walls that tell you the correct repeating order:
Move along to the grid of 16 square buttons on the wall. This time you just need to have all buttons depressed at once. You can down that by pressing 4 of them:
Take the pentagon from the opened niche. Turn right to look at the next puzzle. You need to insert the 8 tiles based on the fact that the green symbols show the correct adjacent tile, and the red symbols show incorrect adjacent tiles. Below is the layout of the tiles on the sides, and where they need to go in the central grid:
Next look at the smaller puzzle on the wall between the sets of iron bars. You will automatically insert your pentagon. Based on the clue beside the hexagon path puzzle, you need to end up displaying 3 squares, 3 triangles and 3 circles. This is the way to achieve this:
- Square, circle, circle
- Square, triangle
- Square, circle
- Triangle, triangle
Now you can head through to the second part of this area. Look at the rotating dice on the left. From left to right, they trace out the red, yellow, blue and green paths shown on the diagram above. You need to examine the tiles to the right and place them in positions indicated by the values on the dice (a line is worth 5 dots):
Go to the other end of the room and look at a domino puzzle on the wall. You must insert the dominoes to connect the 2 glowing symbols, making sure to also match the 2 symbols to the right. Below is the starting position of the dominoes on the left, and where they need to go in the grid to the right:
Continue to the next puzzle, which has 4 rotating discs. Use the clue on the right wall here, which asks you to link pairs of symbols from the earlier square-shaped puzzle in the first half of the room. Rotating the discs to link these same symbols. The links should be positioned as follows:
- Top-Left Disc: Link top-left and bottom-left symbols
- Top-Right Disc: Link bottom-left and bottom-right symbols
- Bottom-Left Disc: Link right and bottom symbols
- Bottom-Right Disc: Link top and left symbols
Now you can approach the symbols next to the large stone door. By solving the previous 3 puzzles you will have revealed 3 shapes, and you need to press them in a specific order:
- Press the top half of the inner-most circle.
- Press the left part of the middle ring.
- Press the top-left part of the outer ring.
After the door opens you will enter a maze, which has levers that open gates to allow you to proceed. Starting on the left of the diagram below, flip the levers in the order of the numbers:
Ignore any levers that aren't shown on this map. Go through the final gate and approach the throne TIME TRAVEL LAB. Pick up the crystal skull, then return to the time machine.
Alchemy Lab
Look at the colored vials in the balances to find their relative weights. Go to the display over the fireplace and place them in order from lightest to heaviest: green, red, blue, purple, white. Next approach the set of 3 puzzles in the shelving to the left of the entrance. For the "Mirror" puzzle on the top shelf, you are just looking for mirrored numbers. Enter this code: 9164. For the puzzle on the middle shelf, you need to find a drawing on the opposite wall with the same symbols. Drag the golden disc over the 4 numbers and see which symbols are revealed. Now come back to the puzzle and press these buttons:
Take the planets disc that is revealed. Next look at the puzzle on the bottom shelf. Use the information from over the fireplace and from the top puzzle here to work out the order to press the symbols: left, right, top, bottom, left, right.
Go across to the small desk to see a round puzzle with 6 missing symbols - you will automatically insert your planets disc here. The disc shows the number of spaces between each of the symbols around the puzzle (sometimes clockwise, others anticlockwise). The following diagram shows the starting positions of each symbol, and the matching numbers are their positions around the puzzle:
Read the scroll in the drawer, which mentions a recipe: 1 x Sal Fortis, 1/2 x Aquae Vitae, 2 x Sal Aqua. Go and read the open book on the middle of the large curved desk, which describes how to make each of the items in the recipe. Now go to the table with colored powders near the entrance. You need to mix the powders according to the information from the scroll and the book:
- Sal Fortis: Orange, White
- 1/2 Aquae Vitae: Blue, Pink
- 2 Sal Aqua: Blue, Pink, White, Blue, Pink, White
After adding all of those colored powders in order, pick up the pot of black powder. Use this in the heater on the end of the large curved desk, then take the old key from the top segment. Use this key to open the small chest in the large desk where you found the planets puzzle. Inside you will find a scroll with numbers you will need soon.
Enter the small side room and examine the small chest with 12 levers in the right bookcase. The solution to this was revealed on solving the puzzle on the bottom shelf in the main room: up, down, up, up, up, down, down, up, down, down, up, up. This will reveal another puzzle, where you need to form a snake pattern. The following diagram shows how many times to click each puzzle segment:
Solving this will reveal a grid of numbers from 1-8. Go out and examine the moon phases scroll on the large curved desk, then come back to the side room. Look at the top puzzle in the right bookcase. You need to arrange the moon phase symbols according to the numbers from the snake puzzle box. The diagram below shows the original positions of the moon phases and their corresponding positions in the puzzle:
Grab the book from the opened cupboard door at the bottom of this bookcase. Look at the scroll with symbols on the small stool in this room. Now examine the other bookcase, and you will automatically insert the book you just picked up. You need to select the correct 4 books from the 8 available to go into each of the slots. The answer is based on the scroll information:
- 1st Slot: Left standing up book from the top shelf
- 2nd Slot: Book lying down from the bottom shelf
- 3rd Slot: Right standing up book from the top shelf
- 4th Slot: Left leaning book from the bottom shelf
Look at the new puzzle on the top shelf. There are 5 pyramids, and up to 4 sides on each pyramid can be opened. The numbers in the triangles tell you how many sides should be opened on each pyramid. The arrows indicate the total number of sides in each direction should be opened. If the pyramids are numbered 1-5 from left to right, open these sides:
- Pyramid 1: Open all 4 sides
- Pyramid 2: Open top side
- Pyramid 3: Open top and bottom sides
- Pyramid 4: Open all 4 sides
- Pyramid 5: Open top, bottom and right sides
Take the coin from the opened container on the right. Insert this into the slot next to the locked gate. Inside here is a diary page to read, and a treasure chest with a 4-digit combination. You need to look back at the scroll of numbers from the small chest before and work out the pattern for each digit:
- Digit 1: Increasing sequentially (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
- Digit 2: Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8)
- Digit 3: Pairs adding to 9 (4, 5, 3, 6, 2, 7)
- Digit 4: Pairs adding to 10 (9, 1, 8, 2, 7, 3)
Open the treasure chest with the combination 8873 ALCHEMY LAB. Pick up the poison, then return to the time machine.
Saloon
Go downstairs and approach the bar. There are 4 different types of bottles. You need to count how many there are of each type, then drag the 4 bottles into their correct places:
Next look at the table with the playing cards. There are 3 hints around the table; the red crosses show incorrect cards. The white arrows show where correct cards should be placed. Now interact with the puzzle and place the cards in the correct order:
- Joker
- Ace of Diamonds
- Ace of Spades
- Ace of Hearts
- Ace of Clubs
Now look at the table with the chess board. You need to notice the arrows on the bottles you moved behind the bar. Following the direction of the arrows from the starting position on the board you can work out to enter this code: 5b3d6e4c. Take the lever from the opened chest.
Examine the dice on the other table. You just need to count the number of red dots to work out the code. Go to the door behind the bar and enter this combination: 6408. In this back room there is a locked crate with NSWE and a picture of a cactus. Look out through the windows around the saloon that have direction markers and count the number of cacti you can see. Now come back and access the crate with this code: 3426. Take out the wheel.
Return to the main room and look at the side of the piano at the bottom of the stairs. You will automatically insert your wheel so there are 3. If you look up at the ceiling towards the lights over the bar, you will see three chandeliers with a similar appearance. Look back at the side of the piano and turn the wheels so they have a matching configuration. From the starting position:
- Turn the left wheel 5 times
- Turn the middle wheel 4 times
- Turn the right wheel 5 times
Next go to the front of the piano. Look at the music and look at the notes that have a sharp symbol - in particular notice which of the stave lines each of those notes is on. Now look at the levers on the piano, and you will insert the missing one automatically. Adjust the levers to match the positions of the sharp notes:
Now go around and look at all of the Wanted posters. You can associate numerical values to different letters of the alphabet, based on the reward values:
- I=1
- U=2
- C=3
- L=4
- M=5
- A=6
- N=7
- G=8
- H=9
Look at the Wanted chest on the floor near the piano and enter the code for HAMILL: 965144. Read the confession inside the chest. Head back upstairs and approach the door with the 5 symbols. Set these to the same as the solution for the cards puzzle: joker, diamond, spade, heart, club. Inside this room, look on the wall to see a puzzle where you need to indicate a murderer. You know from the confession that this is JACK. Use the Braille chart on the wall out on the landing to work out how to spell JACK with Braille. In the diagram below, the yellow squares indicate horns pointing up, and the brown squares indicate horns pointing down:
Grab the dart from the small chest that opens on the table here. Go back downstairs and approach the dart board - you will automatically add the final dart. Now you need to place the darts on the board so they are associated with numbers. Pay attention to the dart feather patterns, the sums they need to reach, and the colors of the segments they should be in:
- First Dart Pattern: 20, 19, 7
- Second Dart Pattern: 2, 4, 13
- Third Dart Pattern: 5, 15
Take the key that is revealed. Use this on the large chest in the back room SALOON. Take the gold bars, then return to the time machine.
ISOBI Labs
Notice the writing on the wall ahead that says "ISOBI opens the doors to the future". Continue around to the left and open the large door by entering this code into the keypad: 15081 (ISOBI in digits).
Enter the central room. Go to the group of 3 terminals to the right and find one with a 5x5 grid and some blue tokens. You need to enter the tokens so the row and column sums are correct:
Now look at the puzzle related to the screen that has just turned on here. You need to find a number that applies to each of the 3 atoms on the screen:
- Left: Pairs of opposite numbers add up to 32
- Middle: Pairs of opposite numbers have a difference of 9
- Right: Pairs of opposite numbers multiply to 48
Enter this code on the keypad: 32948. Three large panels will open on the wall. Look at the screen nearby with similar symbols and click on it to get some information on how to set the levers on the panels:
- Alpha: 210
- Beta: 111
- Gamma: 212
Look at the final terminal in the group of 3 to see a "Turn On 20" puzzle. You just need to set all 4 values to 20. Press the +2 button once, the +3 button 6 times, and the right +1 button 20 times. Take note of the colors on the screen here. Now go over to the liquid hydrogen classification puzzle. You need to choose the correct colors for each of the 6 slots, so that adding the numbers in those slots follows the color combination information from the screen you just saw:
Note the code that is displayed on the wall in front of you. Next find a puzzle with a grid of letters that need to be attached in alphabetical order:
Grab the wires that become available just to the left. Go to the puzzle along the wall with the panels of wires, and you will automatically add your new ones. Now slot the tiles of wires into place to connect the colored dots with the same colored wires:
Take note of the screen that powers on to the left. In particular note the relative positions of the green dots along the spiral, from inside to outside. To the left of the liquid hydrogen puzzle, you will find 5 dials on the wall that reference the Archimedean Space Travel System. Turn these dials to the directions you just saw on the screen: right, left, down, up, down. Take the microchip from the left. Return out of this room and turn right. Approach the large puzzle on the left wall, and you will insert your microchip. You need to enter the code you saw after solving the liquid hydrogen puzzle (4569). The numerical values are based on the sums of 2 microchips placed in the slots across the bottom. Place them as follows:
Go through the open door into a red room and try to use the machine, but you are missing a data disk. Go back to the time machine and grab the data disk from, then go to the red room and insert the data disk ISOBI LABS. Return to the time machine one last time.
