Act 1: The Crash
Crash Zone
Turn around and take the broken pipe. Turn back around and use the broken pipe to break the glass panel. Press the red button that is revealed, and you will eject the air lock door. Now you can turn around and head outside.
Take the ultrasonic dish from on top of the ship. Move the bush that is to the right of the air lock door, then open the panel here and grab the hatchet Good Eye. Go back into the ship and use the hatchet on the crate on the left. Take out the powered hand grip. Go back outside and head forward along the path twice.
Use your fusion scanner on the jewel in the fountain to find out it is a ruby. Look closely at the markings in the middle of the fountain. Back out and use your hatchet on the bamboo to the left, then pick up a bamboo receptacle. Head right and move the bushes on the steps, then pick up a golden ring. Press the button on the pillar on the left to open the gate. Look closely at the markings to the right of the gate, then head through.
Go left and use your hatchet on the bush to let some light down into the cavern below. Go right twice and grab the rope, then examine the statue here. There are 3 segments and you need to set the symbols according to the ones you have seen elsewhere:
- Top: Rotate 2 times (symbol from gate)
- Middle: Rotate 1 time (symbol from fountain)
- Bottom: Rotate 3 times (trial and error)
Try to take the ruby, then use your hatchet to get it. Return to the fountain and insert the ruby in the right eye socket. Now head right, forward and right twice. Press the buttons on the 2 pillars, then pick up the shaped block from the ground and insert it into the hole (you must rotate it manually). Watch the sequence of lights here, then go left twice and examine the hatch. Press the buttons in the same order as you just saw the lights:
Tie your rope to the tree, then climb down the hole.
Tunnels
Go left and forward, then use your fusion scanner on the skeleton (1/5). Continue to the right. Use your fusion scanner on the liquid, then collect some in your bamboo receptacle. Move the dirt on the right so you can pick up another golden ring. Return left and look closely at the skeleton. Use your sulfuric acid on the golden ring, then take it. Back out, then go left and forward over the lily pads. Move the dirt on the left so you can take another golden ring.
From here, go back and then right 3 times. Use your fusion scanner on the glowing plants, then take some. Go left twice and back, then use the glowing plants on the inscription on the right - take note of which parts start glowing. Head forward and right twice, then look at the stone platform on the right. You can take the final golden ring from here. Now you need to place your golden rings according to the glowing parts on the inscription you just saw:
Back out, then go left 3 times, forward and up the stairs.
Forest Path
Continue forward to see a city ahead of you. Use your hatchet to dig up the stone block on the left. Go forward again and pick up another shaped block, then continue forward to reach a waterfall. On the stone pedestal, press the left and right buttons to raise all of the stepping stones, then cross the river.
Head right to see a strange alien creature. In your inventory, combine your ultrasonic dish and powered hand grip to create a sonic emitter. Use this on the alien creature Zap!. Insert your stone block in the pillar on the right. Press the buttons on the 3 pillars, then return left. Insert your shaped block into the hole Skyward Puzzle. Watch the sequence of lights here, then go right and forward, and examine the gate. Press the buttons in the same order as you just saw the lights:
The gate will open and you will enter the city Act 1 is done.
Act 2: The City
The City
Go forward and left twice. Take the tree branch from inside the doorway, then go back and head right twice. Pick up the mortar and pestle Pixel Hunter. Now walk forward. Use the branch on the large wooden block to reveal some colored circles painted on the block. Go back, left twice and forward. Press the colored buttons in the same order you just saw:
- Green
- Red
- Yellow
- Yellow
- Orange
- Red
Now go forward over the bridge. Head into the right building and take the spigot valve and pulley. Head left twice and pick up the statue torso and green journal An Open Book. Read through this journal to the end and take the key card. Next go right, back twice, right and forward. Examine the controls to the right of the closed elevator gate and adjust them according to the picture on page 17 of the journal:
Now insert your key card and the elevator gate will open. Enter the elevator and press the button to go up, then step forward again. Click on the loose metal rod on the right side of the bridge and it will fall down to the ground below. Go back and down in the elevator, then back out again. Pick up the metal rod. Get back into the elevator and go up again. Continue forward twice and attach your spigot valve to the water tank. Use your fusion scanner on the water tank to confirm that it contains pure water. Continue right and climb up the ladder 4 times. Combine the metal rod and pulley in your inventory, then use this on the line to reach the opposite building Yikes!.
The Tower
Use your fusion scanner on the plant here, then use your hatchet on it to get some crystallized resin. Open the panel on the wall and examine it. You need to form an unbroken path connecting the 2 blue discs. From the starting position, press the buttons as follows:
- Red: 3 times
- Green: 2 times
- Silver: 0 times
- Brown: 3 times
Head inside and go right twice. Press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the down arrow button to head down to the 2nd floor.
Go left twice and look at through the hole in the wall here. Try to take the rope, but you cannot reach it. Back out and go left. Look at the small robot and use your fusion scanner on it. Open the small panel to the right to expose some wires, then use your fusion scanner on the wires and the robot will come to life. Take the robot Beep Boop Beep.
Go back to the right and look outside, then use the robot on the rope. Click on the rope to have the robot retrieve it, then click back inside. Go right, press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the up arrow button to head back up to the 3rd floor.
Go left twice and forward to see 2 levers. Use the rope to tie the 2 levers together, then push them down. The computer screen will turn on and you will require a series of 3 passwords. Look at page 4 of the journal. You need to enter the following 3 patterns:
Now select the left option, followed by the symbol to the far right (this will unlock the elevator sub-level access). Next select the right option, followed by the symbol to the far right (this will create a bridge you can cross on the ground floor). Back out and go right. Press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the down arrow twice to head down to the 1st floor.
Go left and forward over the bridge. Open the small panel to the right of the door and examine it. Once again, you need to form an unbroken path connecting the 2 blue discs. From the starting position, press the buttons as follows:
- Red: 3 times
- Green: 0 times
- Silver: 1 time
- Brown: 3 times
Go forward through the open door.
The City
Head back twice, left, forward twice, and up in the elevator. Go forward twice more. In your inventory, put the crystallized resin into the mortar and pestle. Put the mortar under the tap, then use the spigot and pick up the mortar with gooey resin. Go back twice and down in the elevator.
Go back twice, left, forward twice and right. Use your robot on the broken ladder to reach the top of the building. Knock the statue head down, then return down the ladder and pick up the statue head. Return to the left and go forward. Pick up the statue arm from the left of the statue. Use your gooey resin on the broken statue, then add the statue torso. Use your gooey resin on the statue again, then add the arm and head. Now take note of the position of the statue's head and arms.
Head back 3 times, right twice and forward 3 times. Go back, press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the down arrow to head down to the sub-level.
The Underground
Go left and pick up the lens from the floor. Go forward and take the red staff. Now you need to adjust the golden mannequin to match the statue in the fountain. From the starting position, adjust the body parts as follows:
- Head: Looking to the right (click 1 time)
- Top-Left Arm: Down (click 2 times)
- Top-Right Arm: Up (click 1 time)
- Bottom-Left Arm: Straight (click 0 times)
- Bottom-Right Arm: Down (click 2 times)
The top of the statue will now open. Head back, press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the up arrow, then go left and forward twice.
The City
Continue back twice, left twice and forward 3 times. Use the red staff on the statue Like a Statue. Take the medallion from the base of the statue. Next head back 3 times, left and forward. Use the lens in the lookout viewer, then use the lookout viewer Nice View. Go back twice, right twice and forward 3 times. Go back, press the red button and enter the elevator. Press the down arrow to head down to the sub-level.
The Underground
Go left and forward, and insert the medallion at the top of the statue. Go forward 3 times and use your fusion scanner on the green tram Tram Scan. Continue forward into the tram. Insert your robot into the slot in the middle of the controls, then pull the lever on the right Act 2 is through.
Act 3: The Islands
Tram Track
You will be able to access 3 different islands via the tram. You can adjust your target by pressing the green button on the left, and travel by pulling the red lever on the right. Starting by heading to the middle island.
Archipelago
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward and right twice. Look at the markings on the stone pillar here. Go forward and take some seeds from the plants here. Head forward once more to find 4 small pillars with missing buttons. Clear the small bush on the path here, then pick up a stone block. Walk back 3 times, then clear another bush and pick up a second stone block. Head along the path to the right to reach a beach, and pick up a paddle from the sand.
Next head left, forward and left twice. Clear the bush at the crossroads here so you can pick up a third stone block. Continue left twice and forward twice into a fishing hut. Pick up the final stone block.
Go back twice, right 4 times and forward twice. Insert the 4 stone blocks into the small pillars. Now go forward twice and examine the markings on the wall, then continue up and right. Use your fusion scanner on the skeleton (2/5), then take the golden object. Use the lookout viewer and pan around to see some more markings on the cliff to the right. Also look further to the right and click on the large obelisk.
Head all the way back to the tram, then pull the lever. Now use the controls to go to the right island.
Desert Island
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward and left. Notice the cacti here, then go forward and look at the 3 poles with red ribbons at different heights. Keep going forward and examine the markings on the right. Head forward once more to find a large broken stone arch. Pick up the 2 broken blocks here. Go right and pick up a broken block, then go left twice and pick up the final broken block. Return to the arch and insert the 4 broken blocks to repair it Arching About.
Take note of the arrows drawn on the repaired arch. Back out from the close-up view of the arch, then move in the directions indicated by the arrows:
- Left
- Forward
- Left
- Back twice
- Right 3 times
- Forward twice
- Left
- Forward
- Right
- Forward
- Left
- Forward
Now that you have done this once, you can go straight through the maze next time. Continue forward to see that the dome here is protected by a large black dragon. Go back 5 times, then left. There are 3 pillars with buttons here - just press the left and right buttons, then go through the arch to see a dome in a small lake of water.
Head all the way back to the tram, then pull the lever. Now use the controls to go to the left island.
Forest Island
Leave the tram by going right, then pick up the rebar stuck in the ground. Go forward and note the positions of the ribbons around the trees. Go forward twice more and look at the curved wall behind the ladder - there are two puzzles here, one on each side of the wall. The left side relates to the ribbons around the trees on Forest Island, and the right side relates to the ribbons around the poles on Desert Island:
Now go forward twice to climb the ladder. Look at the markings on the tree here, then continue forward twice into the first hut. Examine the metal bender. Use your rebar on it twice. Now go right twice to reach the second hut. Take the 2 golden objects from the cupboard on the right, and take the red cloth from the doorway. Go left twice and back 4 times, then go right and take the pine cone. Go right again and click on the raft, then pick it up. Go left 3 times and use your plant seeds in the patch of soil here, then take the flower. Go forward and look at the markings on the stone plaque.
Head all the way back to the tram, then pull the lever. Now use the controls to go to the middle island.
Archipelago
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward and left. Put the 3 golden objects into the 3 openings, and a pedestal will rise up from the ground. Examine this to get a heptagonal key Hep Key. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the right island.
Desert Island
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward and left. Pick up the cactus using your red cloth. Now head right 3 times. Use your raft on the dock, then use your paddle on the raft.
Paddle up and then around to the left and down, examining some markings on a stone in the water. Paddle back up and then keep going right until you see an opening going up - there is another dome in here. Keep paddling right until you reach open water Out to Sea. Paddle left past the dome and then head up and around to the right. Get out at the fishing hut and take the hook from the line.
Next paddle back to the left and find a small camp. Use your fusion scanner on the rock, then use your hatchet to get some flint from it. Go forward and use your fusion scanner on the animal skeleton (3/5), then pick up the chunk of meat. Go forward to find a large dragon egg, and use your hatchet on it Break Out!. Paddle back to where you started and leave the raft by the dock. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the right island.
Archipelago
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward, left twice and forward twice. Put your hook on the end of the fishing line, then attach your chunk of meat to the hook. Attach the twice bent rebar to the side of the line, then use it. Reel it up again once the fish is on the hook Gone Fishin'. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the left island.
Forest Island
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward 3 times, left and forward twice to reach Dome 1. Examine pages 6 and 7 of the journal to see the numbering system. Examine your heptagonal object, which shows these numbers as follows:
Based on the markings from looking through the lookout viewer on the Archipelago (with the symbol for 1 at the top), enter the code 3351471 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: down, right, up, right, down, right, up, right, down, left.
From here, go back twice, right, forward 4 times, right twice and forward to reach Dome 2. Based on the markings from half way up the tower on the Archipelago, enter the code 6417651 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: up, left, down, right, up, left, up, left, down, right. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the middle island.
Archipelago
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward twice to reach Dome 3. Based on the markings from the dark stone pillar on the Desert Island, enter the code 5432567 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: down, right, up, left, down, right, up, left, down, left, up.
From here, go back, right twice, back, right and forward to reach Dome 4. Based on the markings from the stone pillar on the Archipelago, enter the code 1625347 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: down, right, up, left, down, left, up, right, down. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the right island.
Desert Island
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward and right twice. Use the raft to head to the right and through the opening to reach Dome 5. Based on the markings from the stone plaque on the Forest Island, enter the code 7764125 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: right, up, right, down, right, up, right, down.
From here, return to the docks, then go left 4 times and forward to reach Dome 6. Based on the markings from the stone in the water while paddling on the Desert Island, enter the code 2552536 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: up, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up, left, down.
Now go back twice, right and forward 6 times to reach Dome 7. Based on the markings from the top of the tree on the Forest Island, enter the code 4471431 on the heptagonal object, then use this on the dome. Once the puzzle appears, press these buttons: up, right, down, right, up, left Unite the Seven.
Go back 6 times, right and forward. Read page 21 of the journal, then turn the 4 pillars according to the diagram:
- Pillar 1: Pointing towards you (click 0 times)
- Pillar 2: Pointing to the left (click 1 time)
- Pillar 3: Pointing away from you (click 2 times)
- Pillar 4: Pointing to the left (click 3 times)
Go forward 3 times to find a locked door. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the middle island.
Archipelago
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward, right twice, forward 5 times and right. Use the lookout viewer and pan to the far right to see the obelisk - watch the sequence of lights. Return to the tram and pull the lever, then go to the right island.
Desert Island
Leave the tram by going right, then continue forward 5 times. Examine the door and press the buttons in the same order as you just saw the lights:
The large doors will open. Head inside to find 4 offering bowls and another locked door. Look at each of the offering bowls to see symbols on them:
- Top-Left Bowl: Use your flower on the bowl
- Top-Right Bowl: Use your pine cone, red cloth and flint shards on the bowl
- Bottom-Left Bowl: Use your cactus on the bowl
- Bottom-Right Bowl: Use your fish on the bowl
Go forward 3 times Act 3 was a breeze.
Act 4: The Obelisk
Level 1
Step forward and examine the alien. Pan down and take the items (perforated metal and cartridge) Third Kind. Go left and forward and take the circular object from the water. Continue right and forward into a large chamber. Look to the left and pick up an old cup, then use your fusion scanner on the adult skeleton (4/5) and the child skeleton (5/5) Skeleton Scanner. Now look to the right to find a metallic object stuck in some hard mud. Go forward twice to find some locked doors.
Return to the corridor with the alien - there are torches on the paths to the left and right, and there are some levers on the walls between the torches. Examine the levers in the left corridor and make these moves:
- Move middle lever 3 times
- Move left lever
Now go around and examine the levers in the right corridor and make these moves:
- Move middle lever 2 times
- Move left lever
Use your fusion scanner on the water around these corridors, then get some in the old cup. Head forward to the large chamber and look to the right again. Use your old cup of water on the mud so you can pick up another piece of perforated metal. Now you can approach the large doors, where 2 new panels have opened. Read pages 8-9 of the journal, then press the buttons on the right side of each panel so the left sides of the panels look like this:
Use your perforated metal pieces over the left sides of the panels, then go through the open door into an elevator. Use the vertical control on the right to select level 4, then slide the horizontal handle to the right to travel.
Level 4
Step forward twice and examine the beast. Take note of the broken pipe in the ceiling here, then return to the elevator and go to level 6.
Level 6
Walk forward twice and pick up the hand tool. Open the small panel on the right of the transport and examine it to see that you need 3 vials. Back out and try to open the main door to the transport, but it is locked. Return to the elevator and go to level 2.
Level 2
Head forward, right twice, forward, right and forward. Examine the brown box on the wall and use your hand tool to remove the 4 screws. Remove the panel, then look at the bottom left symbols, which are for level 4 (where you saw the beast). Return to the elevator and go to level 7.
Level 7 Bottom
Go forward twice, right and forward. Press the red button to reveal some controls - move all three handles to the right. Now go back, left twice and forward. Press another red button to reveal some more controls - move the top and middle handles to the right. Head back, right and forward, then turn the valve here. Go back 3 times to return to the elevator, then travel to level 5.
Level 5
Go forward, right and forward. Turn the wheel here and you will see a chain rising up. Return to the elevator and go back down to level 7, which will have changed.
Level 7 Top
Go forward twice, right and forward. Press the red button to reveal some controls - move all three handles to the right. Now go back, left twice and forward. Press another red button to reveal some more controls - move the middle and bottom handles to the right. Head back, right and forward - there is a gauge with 2 small levers on the sides here. Based on the symbols you saw back on level 2, click on the left handle twice and the right handle once. Return to level 5.
Level 5
Go forward, right and forward. Turn the wheel here and you will see a chain rising up. Return to the elevator and go back down to level 7, which will have changed again.
Level 7 Bottom
Go forward 3 times and turn the valve again - this will get rid of the beast on level 4. Use the elevator to go there now.
Level 4
Go forward 3 times and look to the left. Take the vial of red liquid from the alien's hand, then return to the elevator.
Level 2
Go forward and right, and examine the terminal here. Insert the vial of red liquid at the top to turn on the terminal. Use all 3 options here to deactivate the sprinklers, deactivate the fan, and activate a tree pump mechanism. Back out, then go right, forward, right, forward and down into the vents HVAC. Crawl right and pick up the 3 circular objects. Continue right and exit through the grate.
Level 3
Head right twice and press the red button to reveal 2 light sockets. Return left twice and climb back through the vent.
Level 2
Return to the elevator.
Level 4
Open each of the doors here using the circular devices you have collected Open Sesame. In the sleeping area of room 3 you can find 2 glass tubes. In the sleeping area of room 7 you can look at a doll. In the side area of either room 3 or room 7, you can press the red button, insert your cartridge into the caddy, and press the red button again to see a slideshow Family Photos. Make sure you pay attention to the image of the spiky device. Return to the elevator.
Level 5
Go forward, left and forward, then examine the spiky device. Based on the photo, you need to press in some of the spikes, leaving the following 4 sticking out:
Go back, right and forward twice. Look at the portal, then take the box of 6 vials. Return to the elevator.
Level 2
Go forward, right twice, forward, right and forward. Climb down the vent and crawl right and through the other vent.
Level 3
Go right twice and insert your 2 glass tubes into the light sockets, then press the red button again to see the colors red, purple and orange. Return left twice and climb back through the vent.
Level 2
Back out from the vent and continue back and left twice. Look at the large machine with the the flowers, and read page 15 of the journal. This tells you which settings you need to generate vials of different liquids. You can select the position from 1-5 across the top using the left and right rectangular buttons, then get a sample with the round button. Insert an empty vial on the right, select the correct combination, then take your vial of liquid:
- Red Liquid (x3): 2, 2, 4, 3, 5
- Blue Liquid: 4, 3, 5, 5, 3
- Yellow Liquid: 2, 1, 3, 2, 1
Back out from this machine. You should have an empty vial - if you ended up creating some brown liquid, you can use the other machine here to empty the vial you don't need. Now go right and examine the machine on the large tree. Follow these steps:
- Insert red, empty and blue vials, then press the button to make purple liquid
- Insert red, empty and yellow vials, then press the button to make orange liquid
You should now have red, purple and orange liquids. Return to the elevator.
Level 6
Walk forward twice and examine the small panel on the right of the transport. Insert your vials of red, purple and orange liquid (in that order from left to right). Go forward twice and drag the handle to the right Act 4 is no more.
Act 5: The Exodus
Underwater Dome
Go back and right to leave the transport. Continue right and forward twice, and click on the bright speck of dust on the floor Dusty. Continue forward 3 more times. Press the triangle in the floor and a pedestal will rise up. Examine this and you will have to solve a series of 3 puzzles where you rotate blocks. The solutions are on pages 2, 24 and 20 of the journal.
Planet Core
Go forward 5 times The Truth is Out There. Go forward once more and pick up the t-shaped gadget from the right of the stairs. Head back 3 times and use this on the slot next to the door. Head forward 4 times and take note of the symbols on the floor, then go back 6 times and open the panel on the right. Slide the buttons inwards corresponding to the symbols you saw on the floor:
Go forward 5 times and try to press the hand symbol in the portal, but it is the wrong shape. Back out 4 times and go left, then head forward 10 times. Pull the red handle on the right, and a panel will open to the left. Examine this and look to the left and right, pulling down both handles. Now focus on the middle part of the console. The symbols across the top show the current sum of the values in the columns below. Based on page 10 of the journal, they must all add up to 7. Use the 2 dials on the right to move around the console and move the red sliders so the sums are all correct:
Once you complete this, the transport will gain power Last One. Enter the transport and use the controls.
Level 4
You will now be playing as the alien Who am I?. Return to the elevator.
Level 6
Go forward 4 times and drag the handle to the right.
Underwater Dome
Go back and right to leave the transport. Continue right and forward 5 times, then use your staff on the triangle in the floor.
Planet Core
Head forward 7 times and touch the hand symbol in the portal I survived Act 5. Walk to the far right and approach the petrol station.
New Game+
From the main menu, you can now start the game again in a challenge mode with a countdown timer - the timer begins when you exit your space ship. There are two possible achievements:
- Complete the game within 2 hours You Win!
- Fail to complete the game within 2 hours You Lose!
