3rd Eye

Chapter 1

Hospital

Pick up the hat and you will put it on. Pick up the diary page (1/41), then leave the room by heading through the door to the right. Pick up another diary page (2/41), then continue right. After the other person leaves, examine the wheelchair, then pick up the next diary page (3/41). Continue right and grab another diary page (4/41). Go right to see a vision. Pick up the next diary page (5/41). Open the door, but there is nobody there. Continue right. Take the eye drops from the table. Use your eye on the carpet to reveal a trapdoor - open this to escape.

Park

Use your eye on the sign to read it, then head right. Pick up some more eye drops, then sit on the bench to get the next diary page (6/41). Pick up the watering can from the ground, then examine the sign to get another diary page (11/41), before continuing to the right. Talk to the girl twice, then use your eye to find a diary page (7/41) at the bottom left. Notice the green snake here, but you cannot get it yet. Continue to the right.

Talk to the girl in the Anything Store, then use your eye to find the next diary page (8/41) on the ground near the music device. Continue right and talk to the girl sitting on the ground twice. Use your eye to reveal yet another diary page (12/41). Go right and pick up some more eye drops from the wall, then go through the gap in the wall. After the vision, pick up the diary page (13/41), then pick up the ball. In the scene with the 3 girls, you have a choice to make:

• Feel what they feel (this leads to the good ending)
• Just go home already

Continue right and talk to the girl here (with and without the eye), then use your eye to find another diary page (14/41). Look at the bamboo copter high up in the vines on the left. Go right and talk to the next girl (with and without the eye). Still using the eye, talk to the hedge, which will ask you for a password, and examine the water tap. Go right again and examine the sand castle to find a diary page (15/41). Talk to this girl (with and without the eye). Use the eye to search the sand castle to find another diary page (9/41). While you are here, just keep using your eye until it goes bloodshot and then you collapse. Continue the game and talk to the previous version of yourself to get a diary page (10/41).

As long as you have talked to each of the girls until they repeat themselves (with and without the eye), you can now go back and pick up the music device from outside the Anything Store. Talk to the girl in the Anything Store and you will end up getting a rake. Return right and talk to the girl near the underpass - you will automatically give her the music device so she can talk again. Continue right and use the rake to repair the tap, then talk to the tap and your watering can will be filled with water. Go right once more and talk to the girl in the sandpit - you will automatically give her the watering can. Now talk to all of the girls several more times until they repeat themselves again.

Return left to the girl strapped to the outside of her store and talk to her to give her the snake - you will end up with some leftover stocking. Go left twice and talk to the girl painting rabbits - you will give her the stocking and receive a ladder. Go back to the underpass and use the ladder to get the bamboo copter. Talk to the girl here to play with her using the bamboo copter. Talk to her again with and without the eye.

Return to the hedge talk to it while using the eye - you should now be given options for the password: select "Mom". You will receive a handmade doll. Give this to the girl here and you will play with her.

Chapter 2

Hospital

Leave your room by going right. Search the medicine cabinet to find a diary page (17/41). Head right twice and pick up some eye drops, then continue right twice more. Use your eye and examine the left part of the snow to find the next diary page (19/41), then continue up to the snow to the right to head outside.

Snowfield

Pick up some more eye drops here and examine the graves. Use your eye and try to touch the cat, but it disappears. Head right. Pick up the diary page (20/41). Use the tree and you will free the girl in blue. Talk to her and agree to help her (you have no real choice here). Continue right to a bridge, and pick up another diary page (16/41). Look at the grave here, then continue right. Use your eye to find the next diary page (18/41). Head right twice more to meet the girl in red, who will give you a shovel. Talk to her again (with and without the eye), then return left.

Talk to each of the 3 small snowmen, then shake the tree. Examine the fallen skull to collect some sapphire jewelry. Return left to the bridge, and both girls will meet you here, providing you with another choice to make:

• Let's work together (this leads to the good ending)
• I'm gonna work by myself

Go left and talk to the girl in blue (with and without the eye), then continue left. Now that you have a shovel, examine John's grave to find a forearm, and the other grave to find a humerus. Go right 3 times and talk to the girl in red (with and without the eye), then go right to meet them both in the blank snow area. Talk to both of them again (with and without the eye).

Walk left 4 times and use your eye to examine the hidden grave on the left - the girl in red will come and blow up the ground, so that you can search and find an axe. Use your eye to examine the hidden grave on the right - the girl in red will come back and blow up the ground again, so that you can search and find some ruby jewelry. Return right 4 times and talk to the girls to start making the snowman. Go left 4 times and examine the body in the grave, but you don't want to touch it. Go right 4 times and talk to the girl in red. Pick up the blue girl's head and put it on the snowman. Keep talking and you will receive a decoration before falling through the ice.

Chapter 3

Hospital

This scene will automatically play out and you will end up outside in the forest.

Bamboo Forest

Go right and talk to Mary, the crying woman. Now head right again and pick up the "Ideas planet" cassette (1/9). Walk down and left, then collect the "Japanese iconic food" cassette (2/9). Continue left and talk to the girl several times, then go down to find a dead-end. Go back up, right and down to find the cassette recorder, then head right to another dead-end. Return left, up, left and down, then use the "Japanese iconic food" cassette in your inventory. Renko will come when she hears the music. Now go up, right, down and right, and you will enter the next area.

Pick up the "Unwelcome to the jungle" cassette (3/9), then walk up and left. Talk to the small Jizo statue here, then continue left. Talk to Reisen twice, then go down and talk to the girl here. Continue right and pick up the "A blank tape" cassette (4/9). From here, head down and right to a dead-end, then go left twice to see Reisen with a pair of dead bodies. Search the bodies to get the "Do not listen" cassette (5/9). Return right, up twice and left to Reisen again. Talk to her twice more, then pick up the "For mom and dad" cassette (6/9). Go right twice and down and you will automatically give the correct cassette and the cassette recorder to Mary. After the break, head up and left, and interact with the Jizo statue.

This part of the Bamboo Forest scrolls infinitely in all directions, but is actually just a 4x4 grid. From the starting position with both Mary and Renko, go right and talk to Mary, who will mention a Mobius loop, then pick up the "June 10th 1968, B Village E Prefecture" cassette (7/9). Go right again and collect the "Le secret labo" cassette (8/9). Go up twice and get the "Genesis" cassette (9/9). Go up and right, and search the ground here - Mary and Renko will come and then disappear. If you search the ground somewhere else and it asks you whether to keep looking, select this option.

Now just wander about the endless forest until you get tired and collapse.

Chapter 4

Hospital

Examine the diary on the floor to get a diary page (21/41). Leave your room by going right. Search with the eye to find the next diary page (22/41). Head right to see an axe on the ground (you cannot pick it up) and continue up the stairs, then go left and pick up some eye drops. Now head left and speak to the shoe-bill. Talk to it using your eye to get a diary page (25/41).

Go down the stairs to the left, where you will see a ladder on the ground. Talk to the otter, then talk to it again using your eye to get the next diary page (26/41). Try to pick up the ladder, then try again using your eye. Head upstairs twice. Talk to the hedgehog, then talk to it using your eye for another diary page (24/41). Continue right. Talk to the bird in the cage, then talk to it again using your eye. Continue right and you will automatically receive a diary page (29/41). Grab some more eye drops, and search the diary on the floor to get another diary page (23/41). Talk to the cat, then talk to it twice more using your eye. Use your eye to search the bottom left of the room to find yet another diary page (40/41).

Return left twice, down the stairs and right twice to meet a dog and automatically receive a diary page (27/41). Return left twice and downstairs, and use your eye to pick up the ladder. Go back upstairs and right twice, and use your eye to talk to the dog. Climb up the ladder and talk to the dog and horse both with and without your eye to get another diary page (28/41). Go right to meet the leopard and automatically receive the next diary page (30/41). Search the floor at the top left using your eye to get another diary page (41/41). Now talk to the leopard, then talk to it again using your eye to find out you need a weapon.

Return left, down the ladder and down the stairs twice, then pick up the axe. Go back upstairs to see a Komodo dragon and receive the next diary page (31/41). Talk to it, then talk to it again using your eye to find out that the dog had the key. Go left and talk to the horse with your eye to find out that the horse received the key and then buried it. Return right, then go downstairs twice to meet a mole and receive another diary page (32/41). Grab some more eye drops from here. Talk to the mole, then talk to it again using your eye to find out the horse took the key to the right. Go there now and use your eye in the dark room to find the key on the floor near the middle.

Return left, and go upstairs - you will end up with a dirty fake eye. Go left twice to find a raccoon and receive another diary page (33/41). Talk to the raccoon, then talk to it again with your eye, and it will clean the dirty eye for you. Go all the way back up to the bird in the cage, and the cat will be there as well. Use your eye and talk to the bird in the cage - you will be faced with another choice:

• Help your friend
• Return the key (this leads to the good ending)

Chapter 5

Hospital

Pick up the hat and you will put it on. Leave the room to the right. Pick up a diary page (35/41) from the ground here, then continue right. Search the floor near the bottom of this room with your eye to find the next diary page (36/41). Continue right.

Take the diary page (34/41) from the ledge. Take the eye drops from the ledge and you will throw them at the baby, then be transported. On the next scene, use your eye and talk to the phone booth - you will return to the previous room. Use your eye to search the top left part of the room to discover another diary page (37/41). Continue right again.

Try to pick up the nearest diary page and you will be transported again. Interact with the bench, then with the box on the bench to get some scissors - you will return to the previous room. Pick up the diary page (38/41), then search the same area with your eye to find the final diary page (39/41). Pick up the eye drops, then head right. Use your eye and examine the balloon. You are now faced with your final choice:

• Bury the past (this leads to the good ending)
• Write off the past
