The Terrible Old Man is a 3rd person point and click adventure game by the creators of Football Game. The game is based on a short story of the same name by HP Lovecraft, and follows a group of 3 men who plot to steal the riches of an old man. There are 6 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Bar

Talk to the barman, then give him some cash. After overhearing a conversation at the bar, you will receive your beers Three for Two. Talk to Silva Jackson. Talk to the woman about everything.

Look at the pictures on the back wall until you notice the local newspaper is "The Kingsport Bugle". Go back to the bar and talk to the barman about everything. Talk to the other men at the bar, and say you want to interview the old man for the local paper (The Kingsport Bugle).

Now talk to the woman again, to find out she is a journalist for "The Kingsport Daily Star". Return to the men at the bar and this time give them the correct newspaper name (The Kingsport Daily Star) Location uncovered!.

Talk with Ricci and you will leave.

House

Try to open the trunk of the automobile, but it is locked. Talk to Silva to get the trunk key, then use this on the trunk Unlocked. Use the spyglass on the window. Give the masks to Ricci, then use the crowbar on the gate Open Sesame.

Now you can watch the conclusion of the game The End.
