Larry the Unlucky Part 1 is the first in a series of short adventure games about Larry, a man who has been unlucky since birth. This game deals with the early part of Larry's life. There are 12 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below. The series continues with Larry the Unlucky Part 2.

Chapter 1

Hospital

Move the curtain beneath the sink, then look more closely. Grab the knife and the fragment (1/4), and note the first symbol written here. Back out and look at the white coat to the left. Take the empty syringe from pocket, and note the second symbol on the sleeve. Turn right twice and look at the baby, noting the third symbol. Back out and turn right again, then look at the poster on the wall, noting the fourth symbol. Also note the 2 wavy lines.

Turn right and look at the red toolbox. Turn the dial to each of the 4 symbols you have seen, pressing the orange button after each one. Take out the screwdriver once the toolbox opens. Turn right again and use your knife to stab the bag of blood. Take out the blue key. Turn back to the left and use the blue key to open the high cabinet. Grab another fragment (2/4). Use your empty syringe on the flask here to fill it with blue liquid.

Turn right again and examine the heart monitoring device. You need to drag the points on the 2 wavy lines to match the positions on the poster:

Some Morse code letters will now appear. Drag the red markers on to the 2 lines, and take the next fragment (3/4). If you look at the dots and dashes, you can make out the phrase "I AM DEAD". Back out and stab the woman in the leg with your syringe, then take the scissors Sharp minded. Turn right twice and use the scissors on the plant, then look at the vent that is revealed. Use your screwdriver on the 4 screws, then remove the vent cover and take the rubber duck. Back out and give the rubber duck to the baby Floaty Pablo. Now you can take the silver key.

Back out and turn left. Use the silver key to open the locked drawer. Look inside and take the final fragment (4/4). Turn left twice and examine the light box. Place all four fragments on it, and drag them to create a complete message. Interpret the symbols to get a 4-digit number. Back out and open the safe with this code: 4862 Vault breaker. Take the birth certificate Chapter 1.

Chapter 2

Bedroom

Look at the right side of the desk and take the coin, book (1/3) and bulb. Now examine the domino box on the left side of the desk, and arrange the dominoes:

Take the die. Turn right and look in the closet, but it is dark. Put your bulb in the lamp, then take the book (2/3) and the bell from the bicycle. Back out and use the bell on the fish tank to wake up the fish. Turn right again. Pick up the book (3/3) from under the bed, and the hook from in the bedsheets. Go through the door here into the bathroom. Pull out the plug from the basin and take the rubber duck. Back out of the bathroom.

Turn right again and look at the puzzle on the shelf. Move all the discs in the Towers of Hanoi puzzle, then take the thread. Back out and turn right. Put your 3 books in the shelves, then put your coin at the top. Once it rolls to the bottom Ka-ching, grab the banknote. Turn right twice and look at the 3 posters. Use your bank note on the left poster, your die on the middle poster, and your hook on the right poster. Notice the symbols on the posters, and take the net from the right one. Turn right and examine the box on the ground. Change the symbols to match those on the 3 posters. Click on each of the toys in the box until you can take the ham Weird toy.

Turn right twice and put the ham in the fish tank, then catch the fish with your net. Enter the closet and feed the fish to Maxy Dangerous fish. Take out the fish-bone, then back out of the closet. Turn right twice and look at the red workshop. Put the duck, fish-bone and thread here, then take the repaired duck Chapter 2.

Chapter 3

School

Look at the clock on the wall and notice the different symbols around it. Now examine the pencil container and click on the three symbols indicated (x, +, -). Take the minute hand that appears, then add it to the clock. Turn right and look at the notice board. Take the blue key. Notice the series of numbers on the pink sheet of paper, and notice the colored paper associated with each student's name. Back out and look at the green abacus on the desk. You need to set the beads according to the pink sheet of paper on the notice board:

Take the yellow key. Turn right, and rearrange the coats to match the colors from the notice board:

Pick up the chalk. Turn right twice and look at the blackboard. Use the chalk to color in the squares, using trial and error to get from the top-left to the bottom-right:

You will now see a time written to the right. Back out and examine the clock, setting the time to 8:50 Break time. Turn left and look at the pink bag. You can pick up one of the pink keys. Turn left twice and go out through the door to the lockers. Use your 3 keys on the 3 lockers. Take the ring from the pink locker Expensive jewelry. Take the scissors from the blue locker. Take the fertilizer from the yellow locker.

Return to the classroom and turn left twice. Use the scissors on the flower. Give the ring to the raven in the window, then take the seed Evil seed. Plant the seed in the pot, then add the fertilizer. Pick up the apple, then back out. Turn right and give the apple to the teacher. Click on the dead teacher Chapter 3.
