Isoland is the first in a series of fantasy adventures that begins on an isolated island in the Atlantic Ocean. As a researcher sent to investigate the island, you are now trapped and must explore the island and its secrets. To complete the game fully, you must play the game twice. The series continues with Isoland 2.

Round 1

Boat

Scroll right using the typewriter to view the introduction. After arriving at the island, follow the prompts to get off the boat, then return to it. Look at the items at the back of the rowboat. Pick up the key and use it on the lockbox. Read the letter inside, then close the box and make a note of the target symbol on the map (coordinates 20W, 40N). Leave the boat and head along the jetty. Continue forward to the lighthouse door. Set the four sliders according to the target symbol on the map earlier (20, W, 40, N). Go through the open door.

Lighthouse

Hit the plant 3 times, then pick up the cabinet handle. Look at the drawer on the right and use the cabinet handle on it, then take the pair of scissors from inside the open drawer. Back out, then go upstairs and talk to the man.

Climb up the ladder and pick up the shovel. Notice the portrait of the girl looking right, with the bottom-left dot highlighted. Go back down the ladder and notice the portrait of the boy looking up, with the top-left dot highlighted. Head downstairs and notice the portrait of the woman looking down, with the bottom-right dot highlighted, and of the man looking left, with the top-right dot highlighted. Examine the panel to the right of the door here. Adjust the 4 circles so they are lit up in the same direction as the eyes in the portraits:

  • Top-left: Pointing up
  • Top-right: Pointing left
  • Bottom-left: Pointing right
  • Bottom-right: Pointing down

Go through the open door to leave the lighthouse. Make a note of the symbol and number 2 on the back of the lighthouse, then proceed to the right. Click on the lizard on the rock here, and notice the symbol and number 5. Examine the temple door to see 8 buttons with eye symbols on them. Head all the way back into the lighthouse and up to the priest. Talk to him to get the correct pattern for the temple door. Go back to the temple door and set the buttons as follows:

Now head inside.

Temple

Notice the grid pattern on the left wall, then examine the top door. You need to allow all 4 blue lasers to pass through the puzzle without being blocked by the gold blocks - just move the solid blocks to the corners and adjust the others to allow the lasers through. Head through the open door. Pick up the arrow-shaped key and talk to the priest here. Look to the bottom right of the statue and notice the symbol and number 3. Return back out of the temple again.

Continue towards the top left. Use your shovel on the single bone and pick it up, then keep going forward. Use your scissors to get the red flower. Talk to the green dog while you are here. Return back and examine the door on the rocket. Drag the hexagonal tiles around to form continuous loops with the blue and yellow pipes. Now you can head inside.

Damaged Rocket

Grab the iron bucket. Use your arrow-shaped key on the suitcase, then take the hammer from inside. Now notice the pictures on the wall here (A flower, B bone). Go upstairs and examine the large metal box. Solve the picross puzzle as follows:

Now pick up the round star pattern. Return outside and go all the way back to the rear of the lighthouse. Continue left from here to find a beach. Talk to the Captain and notice the glass bottle with the numbers 1958.1215. Examine the box on the ground. You need to rotate the pieces to end up with the pattern you saw on the left wall in the temple:

Once solved, take the holy grail from inside the box. Now return to the temple and go inside

Temple

Fill both the iron bucket and holy grail with water from the fountain, then go through the top door again. Give the holy grail to the priest and keep talking to him to learn the code 37526. Back out and examine the bottom door. Click on the symbols so you show aliens with the correct numbers of eyes to create this code. Go through this door and pick up the knife, then leave again.

Head out to the beach and use the knife on the fish. Take the key from inside it, then return into the lighthouse.

Lighthouse

Go upstairs to the kitchen and use your iron bucket with water on the stove to put out the fire. Now take the iron pincers. Go up the ladder and use your key on the lock here. Look inside the mechanism, where you need to direct both lasers across the grid. Rotate the pieces to create concentric diamond shapes to achieve this. Once you are done, the lantern will be powered up. Leave the lighthouse and go to the beach - a boat will now have appeared since the lighthouse works. Board the boat.

Vessel

Examine the door to see it has a numerical lock. Talk to the Captain 3 times to work at the password is 1997, then enter this code to open the door. You will now get the Best Crew achievement. Head inside and pick up the adhesive tape and blue starfish. Go down the stairs and pick up the mystery stone (1/3). Read the red book all the way to the end and take the round moon pattern from the final page. Use your hammer to smash the glass bottle so you can take the strange blue object.

Leave the boat and return to the rear of the lighthouse, then look at the lightning symbol on the outside of the factory. Your goal here is to turn on all the lights, from this starting position:

The easiest solution is just click on squares 1, 3, 5 and 10. Now you can enter the factory.

Factory

Pick up the iron ball. Use your iron pincers on the lock, then open the panel and look inside. Use your adhesive tape to repair the wire, then back out and notice the numbers and colors on the display. Examine the grid on the far wall. You need to end up with the string of circles on squares of the same color. To achieve this, grab the final blue circle and drag it around the edge to the bottom right corner, then on to the red square and over all of the blue squares. Head through the open door into the dissecting room.

Look at the monster on the table. Insert your strange blue object into the hole in its chest. You will now get the Sea Monster Researcher achievement. Take the round sun pattern from the monster's mouth. While you are here, notice the pattern of blinking eyes on the monster. Leave the factory and return into the temple.

Temple

Head through the bottom door and hang your iron ball on the hook to the left. Now look closely at the altar. Notice the 8 numbered items on the wall here, then insert your 3 patterns in the 3 spaces on top of the altar. Take the blue gem. Leave the temple again and go inside the rocket.

Damaged Rocket

Climb the stairs and the ladder. Talk to the astronaut, then use your red flower on the top window, your bone on the bottom left window, and your blue starfish on the bottom right window. You will now get the Engineer achievement. Leave the rocket and go forward to where a pyramid has now appeared. Head left from the pyramid.

Stone Carving

Take the iron hook from the rocks on the left. Notice the red markings on several of the rocks here. Back away from the carving and approach the door of the pyramid. Insert your blue gem into the door. Now enter the pyramid.

Pyramid

Examine the pillar on the left. You need to see the eyes to match the blinking pattern on the monster in the factory:

Click on the statue's head to get some strange stone carvings. Now head up the stairs and examine the coffin on the left. You now need to use the symbols and numbers from earlier in the game. Highlight the circles as follows:

Once the coffin is open, pick up the next mystery stone (2/3), and read the message inside the coffin. While you are here, notice the large clock on the wall. Now head all the way back outside and return to the temple.

Temple

Enter the upstairs room and look in the bottom right corner again. Use your iron hook on the wooden boards, then grab the final mystery stone (3/3). Back out and place your strange stone carvings on top of the statue. You will now get the Priest achievement. Take the red pointer from inside the chest of the statue. Return to the pyramid.

Pyramid

Go upstairs and examine the clock. Use your red pointer on the clock to complete it. Now you need to turn the pointers to the correct symbols, based on the flashing numbers and colors on the display in the factory, and the mural on the wall in the temple. Click the buttons around the bottom to arrange them as follows:

  • Red Pointer: Up
  • Yellow Pointer: Left
  • Green Pointer: Down
  • Blue Pointer: Right

You will now get the Man of God II achievement. Pick up the black beads from the hole in the floor. Leave the pyramid and head left.

Stone Carving

Place your three mystery stones on the three red markings here. Insert your black beads into the eye of the carving. You will now get the Man of God I achievement. After the transformation, take the blue beads. Return to the pyramid.

Pyramid

Climb up the outside of the pyramid to reach the top, then insert the blue beads into the hole here. Once it begins floating, click on it again and it will disappear up into space. You will now get the To Be Continued... achievement.

Round 2

Back at the main menu, start a new game - don't worry about the warning. Play through the game again as outlined above. After clicking the top of the pyramid, it will not disappear, so just climb back down to the ground. Now travel around and collect six mystery triangle blocks from the following locations:

  • On the jetty leading from the boat to the lighthouse
  • On the table in the dissection room in the factory
  • On the table inside the vessel at the beach
  • On the rocks out the front of the temple
  • Upstairs in the damaged rocket
  • Next to the stone tablet to the right of the stone carving

Lighthouse

Look at the poster on the left wall upstairs. Pay attention to the arrangement of the 6 objects.

Temple

Go upstairs and examine the door to the left of the statue. Insert your six mystery triangle blocks - the left column should have a snake, a volcano, and two hands holding a gem, and the right column should have a broken arrow, a lizard man, and a boomerang. Go through the door and look at the picture of an alien with eight arms and eyes on the end of 4 of them. Back out for now.

Factory

Look at the broken fan on the left, and insert your strange red block. Now you need to open the eyes matching the alien picture you just saw in the temple:

Take the mystery iron cone from inside.

Pyramid

At the pyramid entrance, grab the strange red block from the left. Now repeatedly click on the right wall until you can look through a hole. You will see 8 symbols at the top and have to scroll down to see another 8 symbols at the bottom.

Stone Carving

Look at the stone tablet to the right of the stone carving to see 10 symbols - 8 of these were those you just saw at the pyramid entrance. Pay attention to the number of spikes around each of them.

Temple

Go upstairs and into the secret room, then examine the 8 dials on the left. You need to click on these to highlight a number of segments matching the spikes you just saw on the stone tablet:

Place the mystery iron cone into the beam of light, then talk to the hologram to learn about a code and a secret room in the pyramid. Now change the 8 dials to the code you saw in the bottle by the beach:

Talk to the new hologram to get another code.

Lighthouse

Go upstairs and examine the red lockbox on the floor. Open this with the code from the second hologram: 201102. You will now get the Lighthouse Keeper achievement. Grab the ticket. Go downstairs and use the ticket in the post box. You will now get the Postman achievement.

Pyramid

Examine the puzzle on the wall to the left of the statue. Solve this by sliding the red tile to the far right, then go through the doorway. Click on the 4 beams in the ceiling until they are at their shortest length, then click on the first beam 3 times, the second beam 2 times, the third beam 1 time, and the fourth beam 4 times (based on information from the hologram). Look through the opening, then touch the sea creature's eye. You will now get the The Truth achievement.

Final Achievements

Back at the main menu, look at the About screen and note the code on the left wall. Now select to continue your game.

Pyramid

Look through the hole on the right wall and notice the blue and red symbols next to the first two names - these correspond with symbols from the code you just saw.

Temple

Go upstairs and into the secret room, then set the 8 dials as follows:

You will now get the Lion Man achievement. Talk to the Lion Man. Now change the 8 dials to the following:
