GAME.exe is a short horror game based around a haunted computer. You have purchased a second-hand computer, and the previous owner had committed suicide. You can explore the files that remain on the computer and are drawn to one in particular: "game.exe". There are 6 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Logging In

You will be prompted to enter Oliver's password. Click on the "Forgot your password?" button to get a reminder, then enter this password: oliver1999 Smart.

Exploring Files

Read the text documents on the desktop, then open the WSN Messenger application. Read through the messages, including the ones that appear from Oliver.

Explore the "My files" folder until you find License.txt. From the Menu, select License, then enter this code from the text file you just read: 07XBN-2L4AD-6CE1H-F6RXN-P954G Good boy.

Explore the "My files" folder some more until you find game.exe, and try to run it. If you read the "commands.txt" file you will discover some useful operating system commands.

Open the Customize Winbox application and change the desktop Vain.

Open the Commandbox application and enter this command: fix game.exe Coder. Now run game.exe.

The Game

Pick up the candle on the ground by walking into it, then let Oliver catch you Loser. Start the game again and this time collect all 10 candles. Once you automatically have the gun, shoot Oliver Tenacious.

Cleaning Up

Open the Commandbox application and enter this command: reset. Now enter the password again to confirm: oliver1999.
