The Haunted Island: A Frog Detective Game is a first person comedy adventure game. You play as the titular Frog Detective, who travels to an island to investigate the mystery of a ghost that has been heard by locals. The series continues with Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard. There are 6 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

The Call

Answer the phone when it rings. After the conversation with Supervisor, pick up the magnifying glass from the side table PICKED IT UP.

The Island

Beach and Forest

Turn around and get back in your boat TRIED TO LEAVE.

Go and talk to Larry (the lobster), who tells you he will need 4 ingredients to make some explosives: toothpaste, wool, gold and pasta.

Enter the forest and talk to Mo (the mouse), who will mention a dance competition. Next talk to MM (the monkey) on the beach about the dance competition to receive a monkey fact. Return to Mo and talk about dance styles, then you will receive the bottle of mouthwash. Head around behind the rocks to find Fresh X (the crocodile) and give him the mouthwash in exchange for some toothpaste (1/4).

Next pick up the broom in the forest. Go and talk to Noodle (the sheep), then give him the broom and you will get some of his wool (2/4).

Talk to Martin (the monkey) in the forest and ask him about his nerves to eventually receive a chunk of pure gold (3/4).

Pick up the magnet from the table next to Noodle. Go out to Koala in the water and swap the magnet for a big shell. Now visit Orbit (the duck) in the forest, and swap the shell for a magnifying glass. Finally talk to Bernie (the bear) on the beach, and exchange the magnifying glass for some pasta (4/4) HUSTLED HARD.

Talk to Larry again about the explosives and you will end up blowing up the entrance to the cave.

Cave

Head to the far end of the cave and talk to Finley GOT SPOOKED.

Beach and Forest

After the credits, select any winner for the dance competition PICKED A WINNER.

Case Closed

Back in your office, answer the phone when it rings again ANSWERED THE CALL.
