DreamWeb is a cyberpunk adventure game that gives you the role of Ryan, a bartender who is having strange nightmares. People in his dreams are telling him to kill people in order to save the DreamWeb, which is purportedly the only barrier between the living world and utter chaos and darkness.

Crane

Eden's House

Talk to Eden, then open your wallet on the desk at the bottom of this room and take its contents. Look at the list to see your room code is 5106. Enter the living room to the east and open the micro cooker on the right, taking the key from inside. Take the red network cartridge, then press the button on the east wall and continue east to the elevator. Use the controls in here to go down, then exit west into the garage. Pick up the screwdriver, then leave.

Your Apartment

Exit the elevator and go up into the lobby. Use the keypad on the left, entering 5106, then go west through the door. Pick up the knife from your bed and the red network cartridge from the floor. Open the network interface on west wall and insert the red cartridge you just picked up (marked "Important"). Now use the network screen at the top left of the room, typing these commands:

  • EXIT

You now know the door codes for Louis' apartment and Eden's house. Leave your apartment, go out to the elevator and use the controls.

Louis' Apartment

Enter the building and you will be mugged and have your sneakers stolen. Go inside again and head south, then use the keypad next to the door, entering 5238. Head inside and talk to Louis. Pick up the 2 sneakers from the floor of the bathroom and use them both in your inventory to wear them. Now open the unit on the left wall of the main room and take the pool hall membership card; look at it in your inventory to get the address.

Sparky's Bar

Head inside the bar. Examine the bar stools to find your usual seat, and sit down. Talk to Sparky, then examine the card scanner on the bar and use your cashcard in it. Talk to the man on the end of the bar to find out where Crane is staying, then leave again.

Pool Hall

Walk east and talk to the assistant behind the hatch. Examine the card reader on the wall and insert Louis' card, then head inside and use the elevator controls. Talk to the bartender to get an appointment to see Silverman. Go west twice, then use the keypad, entering 5222. Go inside and talk to Silverman, then use your cashcard in his card scanner and pick up the gun from the desk. Go back out to the street using the elevator.

Regency Hotel

Go inside and talk to the receptionist. Use your cashcard on her card scanner, then pick up the keycard for your room. Press the button to call the elevator, then get inside. Use your keycard with the controls in here, and you will go up to the 8th floor. Exit the elevator and go west, then examine the firepoint; open it and take the axe from inside. Go back into the elevator. Examine the controls and use your knife on them, then use your knife on the wire you expose to disable the elevator. Now use the handle on the back of the right wall and save your game.

Use your axe on the elevator doors to pry them open and get through. Quickly use your axe to kill the first guard, then your gun to kill the second. Go west and south, and use your gun again to shoot Crane.

Dreamweb

Talk to the Keeper, then walk south twice and east. Open the first door to the south, then use your key on the plinth.

Sterling

Alleyway

Go east and south to return to your map.

Your Apartment

Leave the elevator and go west, then enter 5106 on the keypad and head inside. Use the network screen and enter these commands:

You now know where to find Sterling. Leave your apartment, go out to the elevator and use the controls.

Channel 6 Studios

Go east and talk to the soldier. Continue east twice, south 3 times and west. Talk to the old man, then use your gun to kill him. Use the controls on his desk, then go west and through the door to the north.

Inside the studios, head east and north, then up the ladder. Examine the winch controls, then open them and take the blown fuse. Go back down the ladder, then south and west back to reception. Pick up the brochure from the desk, then drop it again, and take the passcard that was underneath it. Now walk west and use this passcard on the door lock on the southern wall, then enter the storeroom. Use your screwdriver on the fusebox on the right, then pick up the fuse and drop your blown fuse. Head north, east twice, north and back up the ladder again. Open the winch controls and put your new fuse inside, then use the winch controls to kill Sterling.

Dreamweb

Talk to the Keeper, then walk south twice and pick up the purple crystal. Now head west and open the first door to the south, then use your key on the plinth.

Sartain

Sparky's Bar

Pick up a bottle from the ground here.

Eden's House

Use the keypad to the right of the door, entering 2865, then head inside. Press the button and enter the elevator, then use the controls to go up. Go west twice and examine the organiser on Eden's bed; press N until you get Sartain's address.

Your Apartment

Leave the elevator and go west, then enter 5106 on the keypad and head inside. Open the network interface on west wall and insert your other red cartridge (marked "Sartain Industries"). Use the network screen and enter these commands:

You now have the code to enter the Sartain building. Leave your apartment, go out to the elevator and use the controls.

Sartain Industries

Examine the keypad to the right of the door, enter 7833 and go inside. Try to use the computer, then instead use your gun. Now go west, enter the elevator, use the controls and save your game.

Go south and quickly use your purple crystal. Continue south and open the briefcase. Take the documents inside and read them to get the addresses of your next 2 targets. Go through the door to the east, then go up the stairs and through the southern door. Head west and use your gun again.

Dreamweb

Talk to the Keeper, then walk south. Open the door to the east, then use your key on the plinth.

Chapel & Underwood

Car Park

Walk west and take the wire cutters from the back of a pickup truck. Head north twice to leave this area.

Chapel's House

Go east and talk to the policeman, then return west. Climb over the wall to the south and continue south. Pick up the blue cartridge and look at the picture of the church, then return north, over the wall and west.

The Boathouse

Take the broken piece of railing immediately next to you. Use your empty bottle on the end of the pipe here, then go east. Use the junction box, then use your broken railing on it, and finally use your bottle on it. Now climb up to the hole in the balcony at the top right of this area, and climb through the hole in the window. Talk to Underwood, then use your gun to kill her.

Dreamweb

Talk to the Keeper, then walk south twice and west. Open the second door to the south, then use your key on the plinth.

O'Rourke & Beckett

Deserted Creek

Go up the steps to the north.

Your Apartment

Leave the elevator and go west, then enter 5106 on the keypad and head inside. Open the network interface on west wall and insert your blue cartridge. Use the network screen and enter these commands:

You now have the address of the church. Leave your apartment, go out to the elevator and use the controls.

Ruined Church

Read the sign, then use your wire cutters on the gate. Enter the church. Look at the remains on the floor and pick up the hand. Go south twice to reach the altar. Pick up and drop the cloth and the candlesticks, then use your hand in the hole. Use the altar itself to push it, then enter the hole beneath.

Move the stone slab and pick up the 2 red gems and a rock. Open the jar on the left and take a 3rd gem from inside. Put these 3 gems in the stone tile in the middle of the floor, then go through the opened door to the east. Pick up 2 more rocks here. Go north and examine the statue. You need to just try all 36 combinations of positions of the top and bottom components of the statue, pressing the purple crystal after each; when you get the right combination you will hear a noise. Go south twice and east and pick up a rock, then go west twice (through the gate you opened using the statue). Go west and pick up a rock, then go north and get another rock. Go west and get another 2 rocks. Return east and put all 8 rocks in the cart, then push it.

Now head south twice, west and south to see O'Rourke. Next head down the hole and west to a subway. Head north twice and west through the rubble to find Beckett. As soon as you can, head east.
